Yeah I sort of grew out of pokemon shortly after I hit double digits. But I think I may have an emulator lying around somewhere on my Mac so I may get back into it, to waste time in the holidays.
After sapphire I kinda grew out of pokemon but while I had a DS I decided to try out pearl just for kicks. In all honesty, heinrich, not alot has changed since the birth of red and blue. Think basically whatever you had in crystal plus a few more species and maybe a minigame or two. Oh, and Wifi if you like fighting or trading over the internet, though it really isn't as exciting as it sounds. To each thine own, though
Pokemon needs to come out with another game instead of just using the pokemon from diamond and pearl. Too bad plywood isn't a mineral D: That would be intense
Lol. Figured. I beat red and blue including all pokemon. After that it sorta just turned into something to do when there was no power or I was grounded. I'm 18 and don't get grounded no more. But you know when the power goes out I do like to play a little pokemon.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha but seriously, some of the names they have for the new pokemons ( i dont play ) are rediculous. They pretty much have had no effort whatsoever put into em, 'Big-rock-mon'. And the amount of pokemon that are out there nowadays? whats the exact number? I remember the original.. it was like 156
It's changed quite a lot. The number of Pokemon has nearly doubled, Pokemon have "abilities", a load of new moves, moves are now physical or special on an individual basis (meaning that not all fire moves are special now, or not all fighting moves are physical). For the most part, it's a better game.
Actually original was 151 including mew Oh man...SINCE CRYSTAL? Things have gotten a lot more 3D..and there are new HM moves. Not to mention colors improved a LOT too {that's a given though} and well..more pokemons as mentioned, still the same lame "team ___" that are evil. Except it's not team rocket anymore. It's was Team Aqua and Magma depending on if you play Ruby or Sapphire {One of the team is good and one is evil} and for Pearl there was "Team Galactic" like wtf kinda name is that? Yeah NPC...no comment. They also have like..wifi trades and stuff, and beauty contest?? Like put clothes on your pokemon and make them do moves that wins points with the contest judges...ugh it has a lot more..but still kinda gay in some aspects.
Yeah I don't think anyone REALLY takes the contests seriously. It's only something you do when you're really, really bored of the game and have nothing else to do XD
you cant really blame any game for being 'gay' if it was designed to be played by 10 year old and so forth. were the ones invading the target markets
Well heinrich I thought of it like this when I tried out Pearl: So what if I'm a little old. Its my money, my time, and my game console. If people think I'm gay for using them how I please, then I say too bad. And if you enjoy the game, then so much the better.
