The Vancouver Canucks are totally my favourite hockey team. They've been doing fairly good this season (from what I've seen so far). I was mad about all the trades they made this year.. but I'm more angry with the Calgary Flames for taking Bertuzzi. (No I know, not from the Canucks but I really, really dislike the Flames. I lived in Calgary for four years and couldn't stand them ). Bertuzzi is still one of my favourites. (Please don't get into the Steve Moore incident.. I really don't want to start any conflict). Anyways, I think its pretty awesome that Luongo is the Captain too So any Canucks fans out there?
Yeah Canucks are the next team I cheer for after the dumb Oilers xD We absolutely HATE Calgary's guts tho. Hehe I really love Luango {when he plays only rofl} <3 Sadly I dunno much about like..trades..and all the players and stuff cuz I picked up some hockey stuff from my boyfriend..all I know is I think Oilers are trading the good players away as they say to help the team but not really..like Pronger..well he chose to leave by himself, and Ryan Smith
They can keep him. He's no good anyway. Now that he's gone, I can go back to my love/hate relationship with the Leafs, instead of just hating them because they have a shitty captain. It's a shame that we could have got so much for him, though, if we'd traded him... Luongo's fairly decent, but he's only about fourth in the league where desirability as a player comes into it: third where overall skill and ability to use it is concerned and fifth with respect to raw talent. Well, in my books, anyway. The Canucks could do with stepping up their defense. They're usually all over the place. And I want Wellwood back. :/
I am a Canucks fan. live in Bc and i think the result for this year will be like every year before it. They will make it to the second round and then lose to a better team. kudos to them for getting sundin to sign tho.
i dont necessarily prefer sundin but it was a better aquisition then most of the players on the team.. I rather have him on the team then some no name unknown player that has a good two game streak and all of a sudden stop. cough* >
