A baby has been born in Orange County, California, weighing 14 pounds and two ounces (6.410 kg), double the weight of the average newborn. Doctors said Richard Walker Sault, born two days before Christmas, was one of the biggest babies they have ever seen. Baby Sault was delivered by caesarean section and both mother and child are said to be in good health. However, his parents have had to exchange all his clothes for bigger sizes. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7803646.stm Holy *@#$%, that's like more than twice what I weighed
That's huge.. Imagine what it would have been like for the mother if she didn't deliver via c-section
Poor baby is probably going to be a little unhealthy. Bigger is better, yes, but typically you say big you're talking 8 pounds, not 14!! Hope he has a nice future. ;/
Why was it 14 pounds?!!?!? Did the pregnant mother eat too much McDonalds? Wow, the USA is depressing..
Thats insane. My son was 6.3 lbs. I cant even imagine trying to deliver a 14 pound baby. Or carrying it around for the last month. She must have been absolutely miserable.
