The End of Neopets

I think that end of neo = end of internet = end of world

so who really cares?

I think Neo will be fine for years and years to come. There expanding and making all kinds of money from Merchandise and as long as they keep it free to play, new people will continue to sign up. I wouldnt sell unless I was offered millions

 

The end of neopets would sound like this :

Everyone using programs and everyone getting frozen. 1% of the players would be legit and they will close the site because they aren't profitable anymore.

After 1 year, they will try to get back on their feet but some giants, Virre and Phee will assault the headquarters and everything shall be turn to ash.

The end.

 

STOP USING SO MANY PROGRAMS :K lol

People are obviously using some kind of Key Quest program and it's getting really annoying...not that they are particularly good...but a lot of them will exit the game if they are about to lose -_-

 

I would have to agree that the game will eventually become corrupt with everyone using programs. For every one program neopets is able to shut down 10 more better ones will pop up and eventually you would be able to go to google and type in neopets and get programs. I cant picture it ending but I can picture it to become non-enjoyalbe for everyone.

 

I really don't think that too many programs will ever be an issue. there are like 100 or so active members on here. Other forums have more. There are perhaps 1k or so users who use programs. In a VAST sea of neopians. They get more than 1k signups per day.

I'm pretty sure that it'll end because users get frustrated at the ads. I remember when neopets promised to never have ads.

Jesus TNT. Just make more sponsor clicks and sponsor games and crap. Thats the way it used to be.

 

The adds are getting pretty annoying, but considering one of my main accounts has a premium, it doesn't bother me - because I don't have to deal with it.

I'm guessing that sometime in the future, TNT will stumble upon some unavoidable lawsuit, get sued for all they're worth, and then Neopets will be shut down. -Shrug-

 

It will continually lose the newer generation to other sites(i.e. webkins) and the older generation(who currently play) will eventually quit.

So less new members and current members quitting.

Then the site will no longer be profitable.

 

Even if it lasts until the point where it's "unprofitable", I still think that they'll keep Neopets up... sort of like how it used to be, when it first came out.

Lets make them go bankrupt and destroy the site

 

I recon their headquarters will burn down or something, causing the loss of all of their information. Boy would that suck for them.

 

I think that the internet will eventually turn into a privitized type thing, where they charge by-the-page for access to things. Then kids won't be able to play it as freely. And then the numbers will go down. And then I'm not sure what will happen, but Neo will end eventually.

And if y'all think that I'm a mad victim of conspiracy theory, just think: TV used to be free.

 

Isn't there an act in place though that protects the Internet from ending up like that? Something called "Internet Equality" or something. Anyway, I'm pretty sure something like that wouldn't be able to pass.

Personally i dont think Neopets will ever end,
but the FREE version of neopets do have the chance to end someday.

 

And rightfully so. Soon enough you won't even be able to collect your daily interest without having to see an ad for Nickelodeon first.

 

I doubt it'd end anytime real soon. Unlike most MMORPG like MapleStory where you spend hours training a character (basically just fighting monsters non-stop, or some give that excuse about doing quest to get EXP which is really impossible to level up with after a certain level) or the attitude of players get into the game (KS-ing, scolding, etc), Neopets is much better cause there isn't any KS-ing of sorts and scolding can be banned (NF only).

 

hmmm,i doubt it will ever end, I just reckon it will turn into a game where u gotta spend money or endless hours to get good. I can deffo see it getting like a T.Q game like conquer online or eudemons...
