You aren't allowed to see scary movies? And I can't think of the scariest movie EVER, too many to compare. But I saw mirrors recently, that was pretty creepy
I wanted to go see that at the dollar theater but it looked like it was a little too much like Cloverfield with the shaky camera bit, and Cloverfield was horrible. Scary movies don't really scare me anymore but when I was little The Exorcist scared the crap out of me.
Well a few years ago I thought the scariest movie was Signs, but now I'm not so sure about that. From what I've seen I'd have to say the Saw movies take the cake on that front. Then again I don't see that many horror movies.
The only movie that I've ever seen that actually scared me a little was House On Haunted Hill. I watched it by myself in the dark at 3am. It was really, really great. The only song credited is Marilyn Manson's rendition of "Sweet Dreams," if that tells you anything. Carrie is good, if you like Stephen King and don't mind older movies (ie me). The Exorcist is unavoidable. I didn't really like it overly much, but it seemed well-received. The Blair Witch Project was ingeniously marketed, so it was great when if first came out. It's still not bad. Rosemary's Baby is a good Polanski flick, if you don't mind a bit of drama and some psychological business. A Nightmare On Elm Street is classic - I think of it as a must-see. Psycho, too. Hitchcock. That's all I feel the need to say on the subject. <3 28 Days Later... yeah, that's right, I just brought a zombie flick into it. I jumped a couple of times, and the actual point is easy to ignore if you don't want to deal with any of that sociopolitical madness. Speaking of zombies, the original Dawn Of The Dead isn't bad... Sybil isn't really scary so much as horrifying, but while I'm recommending movies, I may as well throw that in there. Schindler's List. The Pianist. And Hannibal. No, strike that last one, read the books! Silence of the Lambs is a decent movie for a book-gone-to-screen, but the novel version of Hannibal is WAY better. I'm done now.
my parents tole me a while back that The Exorcist never to waatch it. They had to have priests and ambulances outside the cinema :O:O
If your parents say not to watch it, it must be good. I rarely need a better reason to do something than someone telling me no. Parental "no"s are bonus points. >
:lol: or to express it in another way, parental "no"s are "yes"s, maybe they should say "yes, go and watch it" if they want that you don´t do it my favorites are the saw movies and 1408 (with Samuel L. Jackson), but that movie´s to my mind more scary in cinema than at home.

Heh...the scariest for me was The Excorcist, hands down. Great movie lol but I also liked A Nightmare On Elm Street, and the original Night of the Living Dead.
I don't really find any fun in watching 'scary' movies as they overuse certain elements, but of the ones I have seen probably Cloverfield. D:
I generally laugh all the way through horror films (twisted but meh) The only films I can think of that were kind of scary are 28 days/28 weeks later they are brilliant horror films =]
