I'll make this short and sweet:

Basically, what is your opinion about fighting? Not verbally, but two(or more in some situations) physically fighting?

EDIT: I don't mean this in a condoned/martial-arts way. I mean this as in fighting out of anger. This doesn't necessarily mean if you are ok with doing it yourself, but also what you think of those who do.

There needs to be more backing to this thread, fighting in what style, environment, between who, etc. There is really nothing to debate unless its a do you like physical violence or do you not.

Thanks. I edited, hopefully with enough information to get my point across.

I feel that fighting is a very easy way to solve problems effectively. Guys have problems communicating effectively and sometimes it just feels good to let out all of your emotions with your fists.

Personally I think it's rather uncivilised, though if you were to do it to protect someone then I guess it'd be acceptable. Letting your anger get to your head is one thing, but being able to control that surge of erratic emotion is another.

I think it's a waste of energy. There are better ways of finding out who is right rather than beating each other senselessly. I'd rather just talk/yell it out. :D

I totally agree with that part. In my opinion, fighting is just .. Uncivilised and dumb. That's the way we solved things millions of years ago. I think we should've evolved enough by now to do it another way.

But of course, we still have our instincts. Guess we'll never change.

yes, fighting is immature to solve problems, but sometimes nothing else works.

Seriously, how many people are affected by words nowadays? None

I'm not condoning fighting, I've had my fair share of fights, mind you, I'm just saying, sometimes, some people deserve a broken nose

    Not so simply...
Ok, first off, things like Fight Clubs or Dog Brawl Clubs are terrible. They benefit from animals hurting each other. Fighting with video game characters in games like Super Smash Bros Brawl are awesome though. Grand theft auto, however, has actually caused people to commit crimes. Scary huh?
