I just saw this a little bit ago on the Super Bowl Pre-Game Show. I find it disgusting that somebody that has such a massive world wide fan base would do something like this. He's let down all of his fans. Fans like my sister, a high school and club swimmer that looks up to Phelps and strives to be like him. :nope:
You can't really prove that's him...it could be a fake Phelps. Last night SNL had a pretty similar looking Phelps on the show(it might of been the real Phelps, but I doubt it). But lol @ the beer bottle next to the comp too
He released a statement when the photograph was released saying that he had participated in regrettable behavior. It was him.
What a shame- he was (and still is) a ro-model to so many. Darn druggy xD Or this could just be a rumor and someone photoshopped this.

a lot of people, actually. I personally don't do drugs and don't understand why people do it. But I don't hate people who do; a lot of my friends smoke/drink. Why people get upset is because they are role models to young children.
Hahaha, this may seem farfetched, but I love how he's using a bong (=water) instead of a joint. And as already stated; it's not like cannabis is going to help him out.
Im not talking about 17 an under peoples here im talking about the general populus in lets say America for example .... there are allot of people that do it.

Good for you! The substances are at least somewhat dangerous, you've made a healthy choice and I truly admire you for that. For those of us who uses drugs (both legal and illegal) for recreational purpose, cannabis is a pretty common drug.
Thats kind of depressing. :'( Not that you should, but most americans do in their lifetime. Im sure you will try it out at some point.
i gotta give it to you BobaFett you know what you like and made some healthy choices... i do not smoke all the time maybe once a month and on special occasions. I drink recreationally... not all alone all by myself in a corner lol... kudos to you... also i really think it is going to be horrible for his image... but i guess everyone isnt perfect.
Re: Phelps Caught With A How is that depressing? it's depressing because he hasn't broken the law? because he hasn't taken his chances with drugs? i'm pretty sure that if you've been through highschool you've gotten your fair share of lectures as to how marijuana is a gateway drug and what not and as crazy and far fetched as this may sound.... the people that tell you that actually know what they're talking about i know it's crazy if we're taking america as an example i'm gonna argue we're also one of the dumbest countries in the world...
