OK I have to write a ten page paper on the Spanish Inquisition, my thesis is trying to prove that the spanish accomplished their goal of unifying spain under one religion. The problem is I can't find "reliable" sources. I need to use jstor.org, google scholar, or .org / .edu websites. Can anyone point me to some good information? I also need good ideas, as I can't write a chronological history of the spanish inquisition, i have to write on a topic involving spanish inquisition.
Maybe try writing about the movement as a philosophy? That way you could use all sorts of mumbo-jumbo. It'd be a lot easier to find reliable sites on the subject of ethics, because you could bring morals, discrimination and ideals into it. If you decided to do that, I'll snoop around for more sources, but right now I've come across a couple that look like they might help no matter what topic you choose. http://www.millersville.edu/~columbus/p ... nhard.html - it's a fairly interesting dissertation http://muse.jhu.edu/journals/shofar/v02 ... hawsky.pdf - there's some good background stuff on pages 4-6, but it's a bit concentrated on other stuff. I skimmed this book http://books.google.ca/books?id=JGoqcg2 ... ligion&lr= and it sort of seems to have some good stuff if you want to weed through it, but it's an entire novel. Maybe come up with a few key words and just use ctrl+f (or the little apple key, whichever)? Good luck! Edit: No one expects the Spanish Inquisition. I wasn't going to say it, but I just had to. I'm done, now.
