Im so entering Homeless and jobless was the two major adjectives to describe me. Only 8.00$ to my name i was worth less then the trash that scattered the streets of Surrey BC. This is not the best neighbourhood to be homeless in and certainly not the best one to live in. Random attacks, shootings and stabbings that occur like wildfire seem to have spiked in number over this month. The reason A 5 way gang war over the potential money to be made from the people who are coming to the Olympics in 2010. It starts off with a homicide then multiplies 10 fold this indeed has become a city of evil. theres a taste obviously by the rules in this comp i have to use your ending i will work it in.

Meh. First time ever even trying to create a story to fit an ending. ;/ Hope it sounds decent. Spoiler Life as it seems, a chaotic confusion amongst people, is a remarkable and grand thing. Well, it was, before the unfortunate events that happened just a few months back. It was a starry, beautiful night; although, this night’s beauty wasn’t quite matched with what you might call beautiful. That very night would alter not only my life, but numerous others; as that night would end with the annihilation of Berlin. I was sitting on my porch, alone, as a blinding light flashed before my eyes. As I look towards the light, I see flames in the sky, several malevolent flames. They were falling at an alarming rate, faster than anything a human could possibly build to. I start to run, faster and faster; as I dive into the underground shelter a deafening boom sounds throughout the countryside. The foundation of my house breaks apart and crumbles to pieces. The house falls backwards, onto the underground shelter. I was trapped; days went by, weeks possibly. It’s hard to tell when you’re trapped in the darkness. As though an envelope enclosed me, I felt like I was going to die. I soon became seemingly crazy, believing I was already dead and that I was merely being tortured by the Gods for my insubordination. The food ran out soon after, there were only crumbs to eat and water to drink now. I was now certain what was going to happen to me, and I hated to face it. That’s when I heard it, Sirens blaring nearby, I was certain of this. Someone would find me soon! My mind was racing at the fact that there were people attempting to rescue me. They started to pull the wood and brick off of the doorway, I could hear their voices. Shouting; in a foreign language, something bizarre that I had never heard before. Before they came to open the door, I had a feeling of fear and death; despite that they were here to rescue me. Of course, the door was kept shut until the dark man came and opened it. Haha yeah well it's a story contest. Even a short story is usually at least a couple pages (1000 or so words) in length. And our stories for this are supposed to end with the paragraph fast posted at the beginning of the thread. So basically the contest is to write an entire story, except for the ending, cuz you'll be using fast's. And you can't drop out XD, cuz I am, and I think we're running out of people who are in. I'm way behind on my work for writer's craft class, so I have to get that done before I do any recreational writing as much as I'd like to. You guys are off the hook this time, but look out, cuz the next one's mine, that's a promise
errr ill still throw my entry in.. it'll probaly be ATLEAST 500 or so really, i can run you through the basics of a short story beginning -intro char and setting if you want (where/when) middle -plot development *problems* -character depth (in general, stuff happens) ending - can be open or closed, as in resolving it or leaving it open for intepretation -twist (make it unexpected!! none of this 'i woke up and it was a dream' crap)
