Piercings

I personally don't like them anywhere but ears, but that's because I like looking at peoples faces alone not with miscellaneous stuff on it. :/

 

My parents definetly hate peircings.
But I totally love them.
Too much thoe can be kinda trashy.
Depends on what peircings you get, how many, and what type of jewelery you put in it.

I have my tongue peirced, nose and ears twice. I plan on getting my lips twice, belly button..mayb a few others.

Tattoos should also be with this subject XD Ive currently got two and still working on picking out my third.

A friend of mine has tons of facial peircings, Split tongue, and 3 large scarification.
That is a bit much for me XD

 

Haha like 5 months ago i was a piercing virgin,
i just got my ear done after highschool and wanted something new for uni

and i spontaneously got my eyebrow done about a week ago

i seriously recommend them! seriously, there so exciting hahaha
the pain is forgotten immediately and you cant stop looking at urself in the mirror

the real problem is probaly cost or parents

my mum didnt talk to me for about 2-3 days LOL. i just made some false lie that it'll get infected if i take it out and ill die =p

I've had my ears pierced since I was 7, got my tongue pierced and tattoo during my rebellious thing when I was 18, had my nose done but let it go.

I would highly recommend the tongue, it's great fun and personally, I found my ears far more painful. the gun got jammed during my second nose piercing and I found it so traumatising I would never do that again.

Honestly, if you can handle getting your ears or nose done then you'll be fine with your tongue, it's just the days after that are annoying with the huge bar you get to start with. Oh, and use Arnica - it's a homeopathic anti-swelling tablet and worked wonders for me. I couldn't be without my tongue bar now, I've had it in for 10 years and it feels too weird when I take it out to clean it lol.

I hate eyebrow piercings on girls, unless they've gone for a lot of facial piercings I think they look a bit trashy. And people who wear dark coloured nose studs just look like they've got a big spot on the side of they're nose :arf:

 

I love Piercings. I think they look pretty. I have my ears pierced 3 on one side and 2 on the other, my nose and few others that I won't mention. I take my nose piercing out when I have to go to work and I don't put all my earings in. People do judge you on your appearence. I've thrown a few Piercing and Tat Party's and It's always interesting what people decide to get. The girls get the piercings (usually where the sun doesnt shine) and the guys get the Tats. I think there great, and I also think "To each their own"

 

I don't mind ear piercings (I really want to get my ear cartridge pierced) but piercings anywhere else scares me

 

I'm all for piercings as long as they aren't huge and gaudy... I like the ears and bellybutton pierced on a girl that's really hot and maybe a little stud in the nose but like barely visible. Honestly on guys it just depends on the guy. Like for me piercings just wont work if i get my eyebrow it'll look dumb if i get me ears i'll look like a girl and i'm not doing any nipple of other area piercings.... but for some guys the eyebrow or ears work...

 

it depends, a piercing or two look good on most people, doesn't matter where they are, but the quantity. hoping to get my tongue pierced soon.

 

i think it mostly depends on how you look like i mean not every face suits a piercing neather does every body suit one eather
but i think them rather sexy lets say like eye brow on some ppl it looks really nice on others you just think what the hell u get that done for
or the lip some look nice others dont
well i could blabber on for ages like this but its all just the same really
i have a few piercings my self but also had to take a few out like my thoung (bet i spelled that wrong) bar as it nearly killed me .. but its a long story dont want to be bothering anyone with my storys unless u ask about them

 

Tounge is gross... but i am getting my eyebrow when i turn 14... and my lip when i turn 16. I had my left done twice but it got infected. and i am gonna get left and right done in the summer... hehe i think they are fine.

 

i was a piercing apprentice, had to stop just before i got my license, but that's irrelevant i guess i believe that you should be able to get whatever you want pierced but when taken to extremes it gets crazy. if you're going through a metal detector and it takes 5 minutes to remove your jewelery thats a bit extreme, but a few piercings, not a big deal, plus with some you're only hurting your self anyway. you want your toung pierced well thats fine but when the hole wont stop expanding and you end up with a 1 ince hole there and no teeth from the barbell knocking against them your issue not mine, you want to rick partial face paralysis to have some metal in your eyebrow have at it, and if you want to have your genitals pierced to "enhance stimilation" thats fine but over time you will lose sensation and if not done just right you will lose all sensitivity instantly, so yes socially it may be looked down upon but in reality everyone needs to realize that while there are risks there are cultures around the world that have been engaging in thios practice for longer than there were countries, from back in time when we as a species were living in small groups moving around following the herds.

 

I think just ears is ok and possibly stomach. Having 5 piercings on each ear is tacky , nose and lip piercings are just grose.

 

well i gues it is ok get done what ever you want just be carefull as it can harm you in many ways just like it harmed me with nearly dying of having my tounge done
just like the other post said it can paralize you if its not done right or it gets badly infected

 

I personally don't have a problem with it, I have 4 in each ear, one in my nose that I don't wear any more and one in my eyebrow that I absolutely love B)

I want to be a paramedic, and let's be honest, how would you feel if a paramedic turned up with lip piercings turned up?
Well, to be honest, I wouldn't mind, because he/she obviously got the job because they can actually do it, but a lot of people would feel intimidated, apparently. -,-

 

I personally find most piercings vulgar. I have no objection to a girl having her ears pierced once in the traditional place, but anything more than that is a total turn off. I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would want to make a hole in their body and shove a piece of metal through it.

 

xD When you put it that way, it does sort of sound a bit disgusting. =P
I actually despise tongue piercings, now I think about it.
Considering your tongue holds one of the major arteries, I don't understand why anyone would want to even risk it.

 

Oh man, I completely agree. Tongue piercings are absolutely awful. Why in the world would anyone want to do that?

But seriously, I know someone who got a tongue piercing and bought a spike for it. They was in the ER a few hours later after the spike went through the roof of her mouth.

 

She damn well deserved it for being so bloody stupid.

Tell her the new cool thing is to get her eyelids pierced, see if she goes through with it.
