Modern Warfare 2

Modern warfare 2 sequel to call of duty 4:modern warfare is announced!!!
The announced date is 11-10-09..

I certainly hope it's better than CoD:WAW. Even though WAW was okay gameplay wise, disregarding all of the annoying glitches, the graphics were miserable.


I think they should spend more time tweaking the game to be better, so it can actually be a hit that people will stay with, like CoD2. CoD4 was brilliant. They made the transition fantastically, and if they had spent more time on it it could have been a hit like CoD2, that lasted like 3 years. Instead, they choose to release WAW, which, IMO, was sheit.



Maybe they'll be able to make this one better, though. I do like their modern creations, they have been some of the best FPSs made.

 

Cod 1,cod 2,cod modern warfare are all created by infinity ward...
cod 3 and cod waw were created by Treyarch not infinity ward...so only the difference.
And you forgot to mention the multiplayer of cod modern warfare...it was the best!!!
I hope infinity ward can create the same magic once again!! :yup:

 

I liked Waw... heh I just seemed to like ww2 shooters. if IW would make another WW2 COD game O_O..

I loved COD 1 and 2 for the pc.

 

WAW used the same engine as of cod 4...Treyarch made the game as good as possible!
I am sure modern warfare 2 is not based ww2.(The name justifies it).
I presume IW will create modern versions(like modern warfare series) of cod games from now on and Treyarch would create world war 2 based cod...(In my opinion).

 

i have both 4 and 5 on ps3 (i dont like xbox, im crazy i know) but i played 5 for 2 days maybe before i went back to 4. I never played 5 again, cod 4 online is just so fun and i cant wait for #6 to come out, im sure its gonna be awesome

 

Its been vowed That they would never make a new world war based game via Call of duty.

 

Thats some new news...Can you give me the link to the above statement...so that's the reason for not including COD in the modern warfare teaser! :|

This game will be awesome, unlike WAW which was horrible

2 seperate developers make COD games...

IW:
- cod 1
- cod 2
- cod 4:mw
- cod 6: mw2

Treyarch:
- cod:uo
- cod 2: big red one
- cod 3
- cod 5:waw

if your a fan of the serious you will notice that all of the ones made by treyarch were terrible

 

I cant wait for it. Also I cant wait for Monsters vs Aliens video game that sounds like fun!

 

I agree about the games.. Im in love with XBOX though.

Im super excited for the new one, Ive been watching fourtwozero's blog for possible updates!
Im also very happy infinityward took the project.

 

This game should have some good play time to it.

 

This game aint a call of duty game.

Its just going to be called "modern warfare2" because of the success of modern warfare 1 (cod4)

 

agreed cod waw really did suck i played it for 2 days and sold it to a pawn shop and started playing 4 again keeps you entertained for hours.

 

I'm still <3ing cod4, not ready for a new one yet!

 

Im going to try and get World At War soon, but from what Ive seen from the trailers for Modern Warfare 2 that will probably be a christmas present or christmas money buy xD.

 

I never played Call of Duty until I played World at War. I loved it, but never got the chance to play the first Modern Warfare. Can't wait till this comes out!

 

Anybody here saw the e3 demo of modern warfare 2...it looks mighty good...and assasins creed 2 too!!!I am so waiting for these games!!!

 

Yeah I can't wait for it to come out either! Looks so good from the e3 trailers!! I work part time at a Gamestop, so I talk about games alot lol. Can't wait for Assassins Creed II and Bioshock II also!
