    VPN = Vikings Pirates Ninjas

A game pretty similar to Neopets except your goal is to level up by completing quests.
You also earn "achievements" instead of avatars. :yup:
In relation to the name, you can be a viking, pirate, or ninja.
You can have up to three characters!

    (my referral link - thanks!)

It started in March - so sign up now to get a bit ahead of others, this hasn't taken off quite that much yet.

Interesting. How is the gameplay, what's the method/are the methods of gaining wealth, and stuff like that? Do you mind if you gave a bit of an overview?

Gaining wealth is through games (there are 3) and quests, there is also a bit of rsing but there's only a few shops.

Basically you do quests and gain entrance into different parts of the island (there is one for each type: Viking, Pirate, and Ninja) where you can complete new quests.

The achievements part is a bit on the side, but also competitive, you will be told what number person you are to achieve that achievement.

This site has a wonderful overview:

The Art is so childish :/ They could have made it more for their target age group. The theme is also a little strange.

Hahahaha. I am going to sign up and play later on tonight when I finish playing NeoQuest 2 for the night. Seems like it's somewhat cute, but not sure if it's going to be a one minute wonder.

It looks good, will sure give it a try.
It's pretty sad that they stopped with Neopets, Viacom really ruined it.

What would you do if they offered you 160 million to buy your site.

Well they are obviously multi-millionaires now. But it was a total waste o.o
Their records have been totally wiped off the system!

How was it a waste to sell a website for millions of dollars?

They could've hypothetically kept it and then sold it later, letting us have some more fun for a longer time :)

Well, it's not like there was a guarantee that neopets could still be sold for the same amount in the future. Adam and Donna probably did the smart thing, jumping ship before neopets started to go downhill (or did it go downhill because they left?).

Yeah. Maybe not the smart thing, but I don't know in today's economic climate.

    Definitely the safe thing though.
