I don't know aboutyou, but I am very excited about getting Sims3, I really liked Sims 2 when I had it andSims 3 will obviously be better. Ive seen the new free roam neighbourhood, it looks great, and the added things in Create A Sim.

Going into town to get it on June 5th (when it comes out in UK), it is my birthdaythat day so I will have enough money xD.

Just stick to trusted uploaders and check comments before downloading and you should be fine.

Having a decent Firewall/Anti-spyware/Anti-virus setup is always nice too

    I can't wait :)

Not a good idea to get it from Torrents at the moment.
EA do a check that requires internet connection and people have been getting nasty calls from EA.

I think i may wait for it to come out, or get it off a friend who can set it up for me without it being risky!

    Stupid DRM :(

I bet there's probably a cracked version out there... or you can just wait a bit and mooch off a friend :p.

    What are the video requirements.

My computer fails, I probably won't be able to run it but I really want to play Sims 3.

I like it, but it isn't really the best game ever, the new objects and options are great :D

I can't wait to get it !! I was supposed to be getting it as soon as it came out, but I have to wait till after my exams are over, or I'll never get anything done xD Is it even out yet ? :p It'll be good . Surely, they'll allow us to add custom content like Sims 2, right ? :D

One poster mentioned that the Sims gets boring after like a week. I can kinda give some insight on why this may be. I
f you are like me you typically create one type of Sim, and one only, and you do not let him reach his elder years to continue the family. This has been a recurring problem with my Sims-ness but one I hope to remedy if my bro and I get 3.

And also another neighbourhood named riverview is added to the existing one if you register the game with ea...and any new content(like sofa set, etc) can only be bought with real money...one of the strong points of sims2 was that numerous user made contents can be added to enhance your gameplay free of cost!!!

Sims 3 had a record sale last week...It sold 1.4 million copies in seven days, best ever sales figure for sims series(first seven days)in pc!!!
And considering the fact that it had been leaked in p2p networks a month ago...It needs compliments!!!

    Wow thats just crazy..

THe game is good... if it wasn't for the 10 addons which cost 25€ a piece which will come afterwards and now also the ability to purchase additional stuff online
it would be worth it in my opinion...

But I don't like how it is sold with not that much content and then you have to buy all the addons ending up spending 200€...

Oh I seriously hate how you can't add custom content free from other players or whatever like you could on ts1&2.
That's one thing that makes me unsure of whether I want to buy it or not.. :/
Besides the seamless neighborhood, what's so much different ?
