I no longer have a social life because of this. Sooo much fun, though.

    Ahaha I pirated my Sims 3 :)
It's so fun! I like how the characters can look now, and choosing traits and stuff are nicer too!
    Very good job and improvement!

Btw can you not get kids taken away/killed on Sims 3??
My boyfriend trapped some poor girl from some rich family {One of the two with huge houses} by the pool with walls and her bar was fully red but nothing happened haha.

Sims 3 seems pretty great, really.
I think I'm going to buy this week end, but I'm afraid to get bored and to have wasted money.
But I'll see. I have Sims 2, and used to find it great. So I suppose I'll be amazed by the new version, aha.

Wow... you can't get usermade stuff at all? That's lame.
I have Sims 2, and I play it all the time. I want to get Sims 3, but it still cost so much. And when the expansion packs come out, it's really going to add up. Plus, my computer is already running slow enough. It's way too old for another Sims game D=

I don't know a lot of things about computers.
So I have new laptop, bought it in March. This means I should be able to run it on my computer, since it isn't slow or anything ?

Laptops don't handle The Sims 3 very well at all. My laptop has good specs and it still lags. It also says for requirements that if you have a Nvdia graphics card on vista, it's unsupported. Best bet is to install it onto a desktop. Here are requirements for Sims 3 if anyone is interested.

Yeahh...btw, the items in the game sucks, they're mostly ugly, very few selections, and I guess the only good thing about it is all the upgrade they did with character traits, build/buy mode, and all that good stuff that makes game play easier. Items, not so much.

I can't stand Sims. I can see why people would like it, but it just isn't my cup of tea. I tried Sims 3 for 5 minutes and haven't touched it since. Whats the deal with paying REAL money for Sims items anyway o_O, its ludicrous!

3 to 5 minutes isn't enough time to learn how to play . Don't judge it until you've figured out how !

I ended up playing this for a day tops got my characters lifetime goal and quit. They age too quickly and its boring waiting around while they sleep : /

I got it a couple weeks ago. I didn't get it when it came out because then I wouldn't have studied for my exams. xD I really like how there's no loading screens, but it's annoying because all the female sims are ugly xD they have like double chins, plus the hair is weird. But it's cool how everything can be personalized. ^.^

After Spore I'm not so sure if I want to even play this... I mean, everything they seem to be doing recently is aimed too much at younger children. I haven't looked to much into this game, but I doubt it's much different.

Hm...I heard about this a lot now that it's come out, but I really don't want to waste my time playing it. Apprarently you have less freedom over your people, decreased loading time, and useless rubbish included, so I dunno. o__O

Maybe I'll just borrow if off this girl I know when I'm bored.
