Do you think that cloning is good or bad?

  1. Good, we can discover and benefit a lot from it.

  2. Bad! It's cruel to the testing animals and it's useless.

if you were gonna do that why go through the trouble of cloning a billion kids... just adopt some and do that... they wouldnt have to wait to clone all the kids... they could start today

my point is that the world could be fvcked today... we don't have to wait for advances in cloning for that

Lol, we already know the world is screwed today. But a cloning device would save hundreds of thousands of dollars, but some people might use it for the bad ideas.

Well, there's always a risk releasing something evolutionary. You take the good, along w/ the bad.

I think that what people mean by "Against nature" is that it is defying nature's way of making all creatures, humans and other animals, unique. As to your statement about clothes, there are actually many cultures in the world today who DO run around naked. Also, cloning is such a complex and time-consuming process that it would simply not help us to clone plants to make food for everyone in the world...the natural process would be much more economical and less time-consuming.

I think clonings good if it is only done on a small scale and it is for research.

Cloning is wrong in my opinion. After reading the House of the Scorpion, I kind of felt bad. Don't they age quicker? And die earlier? It's just not right. What would you do if you knew you were a clone, that you were different? It would be so sad.

I'm totally against it. It's wrong.

Cloning humans is stupid/pointless, and even if your short on troops even then you shouldn't.

I'm for cloning as long as they continue to have short life spans. You can clone organs from people so they can get new ones for a transplant. But if everyone's walking around with a clone then the world could get overpopulated (or it could be an evil clone and plot to kill you and try to pass themselves off as you.....I read too much science fiction) I don't think a human will ever be cloned because they say a humans DNA isn't easily manipulated like the sheeps.

i believe cloning is good as long as they don't clone people, lets say someone doesn't have enough "Hemoglobin"(i believe it called that way?) in his blood then it can be cloned and fix his problem.
but to think of that again, it can be used to double the amount of Hemoglobin in the blood (it the thing in the blood that transfer the O2 to your organs) which will make people's endurance much higher, not good against villains (damn i watch too much science fiction too...:?).

I feel cloning involving humans should should only involve the transfer of a brain into a newly created body giving us imortality. Cloning animals is fine

I believe that it shouldn't be allowed. What's the use of cloning and spending millions just to see a clone for a few days?
Clones have a very short lifespan, it may or may not change in the future but would it be ethical? I do however support in cloning organs which are facing shortages.

I say its only good for 2 things. Its good because it can find some cures, and that it can end the many causes of endangered species.

The bad thing is that it is against nature and anything unpredictable may happen

Have you read Ray Kurzweils books? He talks about that sort of thing. There is also a possibility of using biotechnology to just continually repair degrading parts of the body so we will effectively stop aging.
