Will +rep you. c: Okay, so my class is doing ecology (abiotic and biotic features) and there is this question I am stuck on... h) Speculate about why the wind velocity at ground level differs in the two ecosystems. The first ecosystem is a city park (artificial environment) and the second ecosystem is a meadow. For the city park, the ground velocity is 22km/h and the meadow's ground velocity is 15km/h. Help?

No, the heat generated by the buildings creates air currents, and also there's the 'wind tunnel effect' (Try walking down an open-at-both-ends alley on a windy day, and you'll see).
