    Did anyone else watch this?
It wasn't very scary at all. I mean, 'Scariest movie of all time!' c'mon, no way. It had it's creepy aspect and whatnot but other than that nothing too dramatic.

Buuuut, I did watch it during the daytime so that could have messed it up ha

Haven't watched it myself, but a few of my friends did, they didn't think it lived up to the hype. I'm pretty curious though so I think I'll get myself to watch sometime soon, and see for myself.

    This movie isn't 'my type', but a lot of my friends said that they really enjoyed it, and through their reviews, more friends are trying to drag me along to watch it o_o;

Really not my type... I'm a Disney/Pixar person. Hahaha!

It was absolutely completely utterly the most unscariest film of the year, at one point me and 2 girls were LAUGHING at the woman and man for about 15mins. Scariest film of the year LOL.

    Don't waste 1hr 40 of your life. :)

I don't think it's based on a true story. I mean, I saw the one in theatres and a friend of mine had a burnt dvd of it and they had different endings soo.... yea you catch my drift. BUT I could be wrong

Personally I don't let other people's opinions influence my desire to see a movie or not... so don't let posts like DON'T WASTE UR LIFE decide for you. :)

If you're on the fence maybe don't spend money to see a showing of it... find it for free on the internet instead? ;D

I've heard mixed reviews on this movie, I guess I should go see it myself.

I watched this movie yesterday, and I've got to say it didn't live up to the hype for me. Some parts were kinda scary, but overall I wasn't impressed.

I gotta agree with the post that says not to waste an hour and a half of your life xP

It's a movie spoiler! If you haven't seen it and dont want to know then dont read :)

It's not real, nor is it based on a true story. It's filmed on location though. It has 3 endings but the original ending got cut.

The 1st ending Katie screams downstairs and Micah runs down there she kills him and comes up with a knife and sits by the bed rocking herself back and forth until around 9pm that night, her friend comes in, sees Micah dead and calls the police, the police come in and she walks at them with a knife and they shoot at her.

2nd ending Katie screams downstairs and Micah runs down, you hear footsteps a few seconds later and Micah is thrown at the camera, Katie crawls up to his body and she smiles at the camera.

(I haven't seen this ending but) 3rd I believe it's something along the lines of Katie screaming downstairs blah blah, she comes back upstairs looks at the camera, slits her throat with a knife and you see the demon come out of her mouth.

It's made by Paramount Pictures :)

Errrr.... I thought it was pretty freaky :D

The whole logic behind the movie is what actually gets me though.

Yes, it is based on a true story.
I actually experienced something like what had happened a few weeks ago.
Except it wasn't as bad as the movie; the movie scared me, but what happened was much worse.

Yeah, it had about 10 seconds of scary material in it. And it all depends how drawn into the movie you are. My sister was freaked out because she thought it was real. But I was more entertained by the girl sitting next to me who was gasping and screaming her head off, than by the movie.

    It was OK. :/
The last 1/2 hour was really good. Interesting and jumpy.
The rest is slow, and badly acted.
It was worth it though, just for the laughs. :'D

The experience was more funny than scary because it's the type of movie that everyone in the audience feels okay with making group comments about.

The ending was a bit scary though.

Luckily - the lead actress is somewhat hot. Helps a lot.

I went and saw it in theaters. Definitely overrated, but I liked it a lot. Too bad it's a hoax; there were only a few parts you could tell it was CGI. The thing about this one is, usually it kinda sucks to watch movies in a crowd, but everyone was totally and completely silent. Except for the jumpy parts, then everyone jumped in unison. Good times.
