Brasil won the vote to host the 2016 Olimpic Games. Thats the first country of South America to do it. What do you think?! Was it fair?! Let your comment...
Well there wasn't anything unfair about it since it was a democratic vote. I think its great that a South American country is able to get the chance to host such a prestigious event. Equality and blah blah blah aside, having different countries around the world hosting this world-wide event is highly beneficial to the spread of cultures.
I don't know what's not fair about it, Brazil isn't THAT bad. It certainly might not be as grand as Beijing or London, or the States or whatever, but hey! Think about it this way: Brazil is guna work hard to clean up the city/improve for the Olympics now. So having it hosted there is good for both parties, attract some tourists and such.
Brazil isn't really great but i don't think Olympic council will pick a bad country. My country, Malaysia hosted the Commonwealth Games but was never considered for hosting the Olympic Games. So Brazil shouldn't be that bad.
