    Anyone here use Limewire? I heard that it has viruses and stuff...

    Only if you download some programs, they can contain viruses. I've never had a problem with Limewire. I get all my songs for iTunes on there.

    Limewire is OK.... Not good for movies though...
    For music i use eTomi PRO, and for movies, programs, and games, i use BitTorrent :)

    I've never payed for a game in my life :)

    You shouldn't pay for limewire pro when you can just download it from the regular limewire lol...that's what i did, i didn't pay a cent

    The program doesn't have viruses,
    if you're stupid and download something that has a virus, you probably deserve it.

    well if u download songs you pretyt much cant get a virus..once in a great while there will be some on videos and such..progrrams are what u have to watch out for but for any movies and programs you should use a torrent

    torrent is the best way to download anything. just download whole albums for music

    I use bittorrent for EVERYTHING, mainly anime, I know a few networks and I get all my stuff from them (with great speeds)

    on the normal limewire you can download limewire pro for free..just type in limewire pro on the normallimewire and download it

    I use BitTorrent and Emule.

    Emule has the BEST downloads for movies and programs, I have been using it for over a year and half, no problems whatsoever. I think the creators of Emule is from Israel.

    Use BitTorrent for movie downloads with subtitles (since I am hard of hearing and I need subs)

    Anyways, I dont download programs, all I need from it is music. So other than that, I guess it is safe. Thanks and thats all I needed to know about it.

    If I only want an individual song or something, then I'll use Limewire. For whole albums I use bittorrent.

    limewire is fine... just some programs you d/l from it will have viruses and the such...

    I use Limewire, I have Limewire Pro. It really isn't that bad if you have a good virus protecter thingy.

    i have been using limewire for about a year and a half and just to amke sure when im down downloading i check them for viruses havent got one yet

    If i am dling a free software i would go to http://www.download.com but if i am downloading a pay-2-play software i would recommend using BitTorrent. For downloading music i would recommend LIMEWIRE even if it is full album because i personally think limewire have more consistent speed than BitTorrent. For full length movies don't waste your time dling through limewire. dl through BitTorrent, quality is much much better than limewire.
