The only thing you're a danger to if you're high is a bag of doritos.

lol and pepsi. gatta kill the cotton mouth

Zabb-Of course it affects people's decisions, but at least it doesnt make people irratically mad and want to fight like alcoholics do. It makes you laid back and a lot more calmer. With the side affect of the munches lol. use the same rules as alcohol, Dont toke and drive!

    MM I love tree. :D
Since alcohol and cigarettes are legal I don't see why marijuana isn't legalized.

I think we need a "smokey" emoticon

I say no as it will effect everyone around the drug user. The people around the user will not know what action to expect and might be in danger.

no reason not to legalize it really.

only reason it isnt is that alcohol and tobacco companies are deep into washingtons pockets. pot would be way too hard for them to make profit off of since anyone can grow it fairly easily.

Yes , it should be leqalized. I don`t smoke, nor do I approve the idea/ act of smokinq pot, but to each his own.
My reason is that smokinq marijuana IS bad for you- but because it is illeqal people do it more. It's that 'I'll do it because it's illeqal' thouqht that makes people smoke it. Look at Cigarettes: Worse for your health than Marijuana statistically. But if you want to be a rebel you can arque that it's effects are equal to those of Marijuana. However, it is leqal- and no one really seems to have a problem with it.

    Marijuana vs. Ciqarettes.

    1) Most marijuana smokers smoke the bud, not the leaf, of
the plant. The bud contains only 33% as much tar as tobacco.

    2) Marijuana smokers do not smoke anywhere near as much as tobacco smokers, due to the psychoactive effects of cannabis.

    3) Not one case of lung cancer has ever been successfully linked to marijuana use.

    4) Cannabis, unlike tobacco, does not cause any narrowing of the small air passageways in the lungs.( it actually opens it up like a couqh drop does)

It doesn't matter, when you have lung cancer doctors take Chest scans, PET Scans and CT scans. THC damage is not significant enough to cause lung cancer. Doctors aren't exactly dumb. They know the difference between THC and Nicotine. ;)

    HELL NO!!!

just think if all those rebels who smoke pot now, do it to be rebels then wut r they gonna do when its legal, they'll just go do something that'll break the law like coke, same with all the people that operate drug-ops, if it was legal to smoke pot, u'd have huge companies making it, which would reduce the cost of it, so the people operating drug-ops wouldnt make a lot of money so they would just go operate a different drug op, lets say bringing in coke from cuba, then if u legalized it, u'd run into problems like smoking and driving, if everybody smoked pot and they did it legally at parties then u'd have all those idiots driving while their high

You're all being close-minded about this, if you excuse my saying so. I mean- I already said I don't approve of pot smoking, so it isn't personal. There was a special on CNN about pot legalization and how it would affect the U.S. Truth is it wouldn't be worse than it is.
