Whoah, I'm so amazed by the new "google streets view" - Now you can actually walk in the streets of the world o.o
I could even find my parents house and ALMOST look in the windows. I sat with this for almost an hours (yup, this is so much more fun than doing homework) and I'm still AH-MAZED :'D I'm soo afraid of looking at seas and stuff, so I'm careful not going there (don't aske me why, it's some weird phobia I have, my heart always beats faster when I see ships and big seas T_T)
I'm pretty sure I heard in the news that it's "only" been done in 16 countries so far.

yea I've seen this before. I was majorly amazed when I first saw it too! It's really cool but kind of creepy at the same time lol. I looked up my grandparents house and found out that some of the views are a couple years old because some of the bushes that burned down in a fire in their front yard were still there :nope:

 

Yeah I guess it varies .. From what I could tell, the picture of my parents house was more than a year old, but my friends house was just being built, and it isn't more than 6 months ago But the google map picture or my parents house is like.. 3-4 years old XD

 

I just looked up the house that I grew up in and found out that it's now owned by a Missionary Group :O Crazy random!!!

LOL WHAT a coincidence! i just told my friend about this today...

anyway, i hate these things, cuz i think on face book, there was a pic of my street, and my mom was doing laundry(with no pants , but you couldn't tell)

what if someone is getting it on in their room and the blinds are open? google street view might catch it ahahah
but then again who keeps their blinds open when thats going on..

 

Synthetic; yeah, I agree - and people have been caught in embarrising moments - but I've heard that google remove those pictures pretty fast if you contact them..

 

I can't tell if my house changed or not...nothing was done to it...but i can see the bridge being built XD
