    Yes, Federer beat Andy Murray in the Australian Open

    To be honest, it was expected :p

    Scores were 6-3 6-4 7-6 (13-11), it is safe to say that it was an easy win for Federer

    I stayed up till 3:30am to watch it live, it was well worth it. Federer easily took the first two sets and then just played for the tie break and not try to kill himself to break Murray in the third set. It was a good match even if it ended in a sweep of 3 sets.

    Being a Brit I was obviously supporting Murray.
    But congratulations to Federer anyways.

    I, for one, thought that Murray was going to win, seeing as how he beat Nadal earlier in the tournament and actually had a winning record against fedex.
    And Murray is Scottish, not British.

    Murray is scottish but has fans from all over the UK. So yeah trying to end that drought of UK Tennis players not winning a grand slam.
