Pokemon???

I used to be a pokemon fanatic, except now i sometimes play it. I have so many shiny pokemon its not funny lol

Oh man, Ash in G/S was epic. Level 81 pikachu, everything else in 70s, his snorlax was beast if you didn't have fighting type xD
I love it so much, I lost my Silver, but I've been playing gold on emulator. =(

Can't wait for HG/SS. I'm getting HG, my friend SS. Gonna complete pokedex together =D

 

OMG that's the pokemon i was trying to think of in my last post! Snorlax! That thing was so annoying. Btw, i also had Silver but i lost it. I was so tempted to emulate gold, but just less than a month of waiting. I haven't even been into pokemon for years but this release has just got me so excited.

Emulators do work. Well, some. I use VisualBoyAdvance for gold. project64 for n64. I never used any others. But there are NO working ds emulators right now.
I just can't wait to download HG and put it on my r4 =D
Isn't it supposed to come out like, next month? Or I remember someone told me it was delayed or something, unless I'm thinking of a different game.

 

I know this past summer, two of my good friends who I hang out with nearly everyday, just randomly started playing the pokemons games for the gameboy color

It ended up being a race to see who could finish it first! lol

I think everyone grew up with pokemon, its kinda a bit of a joke now, hence the facebook pics everyone had with pokemon not long ago

I remember using that rare candy glitch ALLLL the time!

 

That exact thing happened to me TWO summers ago. Weird....

 

i don't have all the pokemon. i once beat the elite 4 with a lvl 65 empoleon, lvl 35 quagsire, a lvl 25 staravia, and a lcl 21 bidoof

 

I never use the rare candy glitch. It makes the game so BORING. I train everyone to level 100, and recently I completed pokedex (blue), and I'm trying to get them all lvl 100 right now

 

I thought there were working DS emulators now - because the last time I heard about them they existed but were 'very laggy' and 'sucked'.

There doesn't seem to be to much progress on them. I've got a DSi and a supercard so i can download whatever game i want without caring about emulators, but i've heard they now play many games, just with a couple glitches. Not like online play though.

I just dont think it woud be fun on an emulator.

 

I've never liked emulators for games, it just pales so much to the original. except the original zelda. that was fun on computer too

 

The latest Pokemon game I've played was Platinum and I've gotta say I was satisfied with it. I like how no matter how many games Pokemon releases they somehow all have a nice replay value also.

 

With the date for HG/SS coming out just around the corner, I've been fighting the urge to get out my old Game Boy & play the originals. Out of all the pokemon games, those were absolutely my favorite. Got Gold around when it first game out(& I traded for my sister's silver for some scooby doo game. ) and still take them out often to play. Gold is where I keep all my lv100s, legendary, etc. But when I feel like starting all over from the beginning, I transfer all the pokemon I had on silver to gold, then start a new game.

Never really got into the whole cheating thing. A year ago my friend started doing it, but when I saw her get all her rare candies, master balls, and stuff for nothing, that is where the boredom came in. What is the point of playing, even? Get a bunch of lv100 pokemon, breeze through challengers, and ta-da? To me, that makes it just utterly boring.
