I thought Tarja helped set Nightwish further apart from other bands. They still rock, but their music is a little different now. I prefer Planet Hell to this one though. Anette is great though, just not as...unique for the genre they play in.
I just recently discovered that Nightwish is mainstream now. It blew my mind when people actually knew who they were. They have been one of my favourite bands for about 8 years now. And I actually agree that I like Annette more, but Tarja was wonderful as well. I think both are top tier vocalists

Disturbed The Sickness is still probably their best album IMO Stupify and Voices were probably my favorite tracks

I actually liked that last one!! I'm not a huge fan of that type of music, but some I can get into. And, the video was a bonus because It is always funny watching someone have what looks like a fit... multiple times XD That made my night... There are a few bands that I get into that play similar music to this... I'll go through my library in the morning and keep an eye out Mine might not be hardcore enough... But meh
I'm sorry to hear that, hope you're feeling better I'm trying really hard to remember the Finger 11 song that I liked, but I haven't heard it in 7 years or so, so I'm having difficulty. The band has less staying power for me, listening now, I don't think the singer is particularly good (as a singer it's the first thing I listen for)
