He was an evil dictator and killed hundreds of people and he's finally dead. I feel sorry for his daughters though, they thought he was such a great guy and they had to go through their father being killed. Videos of the execution is being passed around on ebaumsworld and such
i think the death sentence was the easy way out. or at least make him die slowly and painfully like burning or drowning or something. most of the time when u get hung ur neck breaks anyway

Yea had to agree with that. Remember the incident where the U.S. army's way of torturing the prisoners in iraq. when the media receive those pictures they publish it and cause an uproar. If they found pics of saddam being tortured i am sure those pro-saddam will cre8 a chaos.

But then he could have faced LOADS more trails and whole probably end up in prison for the next 50 years of his life till he dies. That would be a better punishment than death. :roll:
Well I think that it would have been better for him to suffer as in MINIMAL human contact for the rest of his life in an isolated cell as someone had already said earlier. The thing is that his lawyers would have kept fighting for him and you never know what would have happened. No matter what anyone say about Saddam and what he was trying to do, he killed a lot of people so in my mind that can almost justify his hanging. In any case, at least now it's all over and it's too late to change our minds.
well for as bad as that single man was that killed thousands of people if not tens of thousands of people in his own country. He held the middle east together and look at what a wonderful job we have done with it. Worse than Saddam? I think not... But if he ever went to prison, his life WOULD be torture due to the inmates that want to beat him up.
There is a video of him hanging on Google Video. Just search Saddam Execution Video. It has not been proven real yet but it looks really legit. It looks like he was left to hang and did not die from the drop.
Doesn't it sound sorta freaky to see that your own execution was passed around the internet, available to hundreds of thousands of users (if not millions/billions)?
