So, I am always bored, and I realized that I lacked an MMORPG. I mean, I've played RuneScape, but it's just too much to keep getting a membership and all. So, I was just wondering what kind of games ya'll would suggest :p

    -Thanks, Lightning

Try Dofus! It's completely original for an MMORPG, having a huge fully open world like WoW, FF XI or Runescape, but a battle system that is a lot like FF Tactics. It also has a wicked, sarcastic and slightly obscene sense of humour. It has pretty a pretty unique graphical style, isn't demanding on hardware, and its battle system is complex and involving, especially in team battles - however, it eases you into its complexities with a nice tutorial & beginner areas. The game is free to play for as long as you like, although F2P players are restricted to a relatively small area of the game - however, the area is more than large enough and filled with enough features for you to decide if you want to continue to play or not, and if you do wish to continue, P2P is among the most affordable I've seen for an MMO. Give it a try, there's really nothing to lose and you might like it.

I am currently playing Diablo II:LoD; classic. Also I just started playing PristonTale again since their game management has been taken over by SubaGames and its been a decent turn out. Still its just mainly grinding. Oh and MapleStory... I haven't touched that game in couple years. I checked up on it recently and there are like... TONS of classes now. I can't even keep up with the game... so lost ~.~

City of Heroes/Villains is my favorite. It's not your run of the mill fantasy, and the devs are some of the friendliest and most open in the industry and will actually have a chat with the players about problems in the game and why certain content cannot be supported. Plus, they have some very innovative features like the recently added mission creator, which allows you to make your own missions and then play them and the much anticipated new "karma system" which will allow your hero to become a villain or vice-verce.

I just got torchlight, youtube it, very similar to diablo. But absolutely AMAZING! :)

And it's random generated levels, so no 2 games are ever the same.

The "MMO" part means a huge online game. Torchlight is just a single-player RPG :)
If you're willing to pay for a sub, LotRO is a great game.

You could try the lord of the ring online which has the WoW RPG perspective. Get the trial and see how it works. The higher graphics settings are not available in the trial though. But it’s a really fun game and I’d recommend it to you. The ones where you have to pay are so much better. I'd buy LOTRO premium a month to play a game that's actually fun. I think LOTRO is the more epic feeling game but WoW is more like a rollercoaster in terms of the way they present their stuff. Personally I prefer LOTRO.

I used to play WoW for years, but got tired of the commitment it required to stay on top and have a raiding spot in the guild.
I just revived my old Guild Wars account recently, and it's not too bad (still levelling a new character though). No monthly account subscription, and you won't get addicted to the game. Good for casual players like myself. :)

World of Warcraft is probably the default to go to since it has a lot of other players and can be fun in that it has a lot of content too. But it does get boring after awhile.
