nintendo wii

is it worth it im thinking of getting one and just wondering are they good?

 

Why wont you read the other 3 or 4 threads about this before making another topic about it. Yes, Wii is really good. The graphics are not that bad, the remote is sweet.

 

actually i heard the graphics are not good considering its a next gen console, apparently they are very similar to game cube. Plus alot of the cross console games on wii make poor use of the remote.

I've played the built in sports games and thats it on a friends. It was a lot of fun but incomparable to the 360 or ps3.

 

I am enjoying mine. the sports game is mostly just a demo for the remote but zelda is beautiful. not on par with ps3 or xbox graphics-wise but makes up for it with the sweetness of the remote.

 

I like the wiimote but not the graphics

 

Its good, but the graphics arent all that
If they release something for the graphics that would be awsome

 

the nintendo wii is awesome...you should get it...the graphics may not be close to realistic...but the gameplay rocks...and you will love playing the wii...trust me...i am a wii owner and have been since they came out in america on Nov 19 at 12 am in the morning...

Everyone who says graphics go buy a xbox or ps, everyone who doesnt mention the graphics have the time of their life on the wii.

 

I tried that it was kind of hard to play until u get use to it

 

Saw some kids playing in our res lounge the other day...looks really fun! They were doing shot gun, bowling...!

 

heard that there have been problems with the controller and they've had to recall millions of them...graphics are not as good a XBOX 360/PS3, but the games are really fun

 

The problem wasnt the controller, it was the band it comes with. Apparently ppl were using this for hours straight and the band was cutting up their wrists(so they looked emo), so the recall was for new bands.

 

yeah

i think the remote thingy (the thing where it senses the movement of the remote) is the best feature so far =)

 

also the only time the strap is a problem is when people are using it improperly anyway. it is just supposed to be a safety line in case it slips out of your grip so you dont break the controller dropping/throwing it

It's amazing. I've actually had the pleasure of playing one, and they're wonderful.

Plus it's much cheaper then the PS3/Xbox 360.
