I have both a Macbook Pro and an HP laptop (dv4 line) and would like games to download on each. If some games are only PC or Mac-compatible, then that's fine.

    So far I've got...

    Icy Tower
    Very fun and addictive XD
    http://www.icytower.com/

    Super Mario 1.2
Not a fan of the controls/how high Mario jumps

Yeah... I don't mind shelling out bucks for games if they're awesome (I'll find a free trial for it and then figure out if it's worth $40 or so). I'm not a fan of Starcraft, Age of Empires, Empire: Total War, etc games :/. I like CoD, but have never tried it on a PC and would be open to suggestions on whether it's good for fun.

Don't think I'd play Pokemon. I'd rather stick to my DS when it comes to those games.

    Suggestions please :)

I'd recommend DOOM or fallout 3. Only cause those are the only two things i play on PC. :p

That game is really really fun. Good for when you need to waste a bunch of time.

or even other emulators to play old dos games.

I like http://www.homeoftheunderdogs.net/ as it has a lot of abandon ware ( games that are now free) Mind you most of them are really old but they greate fun.

If you like the newer games then yes fallout 3 is gold. Another good one is Assassin's Creed 2

    happy gaming

Can you tell me what dos is? I'm kinda nubby when it comes to online gaming lol X_x. I'm also so confused as to what an emulator is... I googled it but all I got were pages that told me what emulator was in computer science terms and it's some kind of programming? o_o

Gonna try out Assassin's Creed 2 at GameStop. Thanks for all the suggestions guys :D. Haven't tried Fallout 3 still but I got a free trial copy of it.

I believe the most popular PC game by far is Counter Strike: Source. You basically play search and destroy every time and it has a lot of the same guns from CoD(p90, m4, ak, ump, mp5k, famas to name a few).

There were also custom lobbies that were deathmatches and stuff.

You can find a lot of css gameplay on youtube.

    It goes for $20.

Note - soc plays and is terrible

Check out the Cider-ported versions of Borderlands and GTA: San Andreas, and if you like racing they have a bunch of Need For Speed games ported too. You should check out TPB.com and look in the top 100 mac games section.
