Yeah I started to get bored several times in this episode with all the crying and whining, but some of the songs were really good. I liked the Journey mashup the best. I wouldn't give up hope on seeing Vocal Adrenaline again though because they showed the coach so much maybe she'll come back.. and maybe Jesse will too.
aww..some spoilers "we won't be seeing the Vocal Adrenaline characters anymore" .. i like to keep the last 1-5 episodes of shows till the new season comes out .. yeah, actually i wanted to post on it but yeah, was considered gravedigging and i already got a warning for that once .. can wait for the new season to come out though
I freaking looooooooooove Glee. I love Total Eclipse of the Heart, sung by Lea Michele. Her voice is amazzzazzinggg.
Overall the show was a success in my opinion. I would step back and think about some things next time though. Rachel and Finn do NOT harmonize well... Enough said. Some of the songs that they did were just corny. They didn't need to be put in plain and simple. Right now I'm drawing a blank as to which ones but we all know which ones. I really thought they'd just redo a lot of karaoke favorites because they did "Don't Stop Believing" on the first show... I was glad to see that this was not the case. I'd like to see some of the other singers get more of the spotlight. Don't get me wrong, Leah Michelle has an amazing voice, but she's not the only one on the show. Maybe season 2 will work on this though. There is speculation that Britney Spears will have her own episode (let's hope not).
The Journey medley was great. Original still rockin', but it reignited my love for those legendary songs. And Don't stop is just plain awesome, no matter what!
Anyone been keeping up with all the Glee spoilers? So so many new guest stars and stars who wants to be on glee.. John Stamos, Jarvier Bardem, Charice (idk who she is), Britney Spears tribute episode... I'm sure there's more but I can't think of any at the moment.
Ok I feel this is in need of a bump with the new season starting in a couple weeks. I don't think this is gravedigging... It's better than making a new thread, right? But yea, new season. I can't wait for it, it's gonna be amazing. I'm excited for Brittany to finally sing in the second episode. She gets so sing some Britney Spears, so it will be cool. I love her so much, and her one liners. They make me giggle.
I really didn't ever understand why that show was so popular in the first place, it's worse than reality TV.
I really liked the first season of Glee but I found that it lost some quality by the second season. I hope when it comes back it will be better rather than worse but I think I'll probably watch it either way.
It's only had one season.. :back: Do you mean the first half of the first season? There was a break between the first and second half because of American Idol.
The first half was definitely better than the second. But I expect good things for the new season. It will be great. More songs for me to sing
Yeah, the second half was hit and miss. It had some of the best moments in the show, but several of the episodes were just plain bad. I found Hello absolutely horrible, and the Funk episode was painful to watch. Luckily it also had Power of Madonna and a lot of stuff with Kurt and his dad - and most importantly, Kurt doing Rose's Turn. To me, that was the most powerful moment in the show to date. He killed it.
Billy Joel is next season?! I am definitely watching that one. My mom bought me the first half of season one for Christmas, but personally I thought it was kinda cheesy. I do like the songs, but the plot and some of the scenes are just kinda... meh. My sister is absolutely in love with the show now, though, so the dvd wasn't a total waste of money xP
Yea, sadly, unlike Britney Spears, Billy Joel will not be appearing on the show, but he did give permission to use his songs.
Aww... I thought he was actually going to be on the show. That would have been awesome!! Guess I'll just have to settle for hearing his songs. Hopefully they don't butcher it like they have with some of the songs before
:yup: agrees oh ya. been wondering about the break for US shows..every year there will be a break for almost all the US shows, supernatural, greys anatomy, criminal minds etc etc.. meaning no matter which television network, ABC, CBS, CW etc, they will all put a hold on all the prime-time shows because of A.I ?
