Comes out July 9th Is anyone else as disgustingly excited to see this as me? I remember for the longest time I only saw the short trailers with the yellow minions and I knew I was going to see it. (Only saw the trailer with the two guys trying to say "despicable me" and laughing and punching each other) For a good month or two I didn't even know what this movie was about. I can't waaiiiittttt. (Plus, a few days ago, I saw this trailer in 3D and it was amazing)
Looks kinda cute, not really excited about it though The story isn't very catchy though, it kinda reminded me of that one with Jim Carrey who is the evil uncle or something xD
Yeah, I agree. The story does seem like it was used before. But have you seen the clip where one of the little girls asks her uncle "Does this count as annoying?" and proceeds to gently slap her cheeks. I'm pretty excited. It seems like it'll be funny, but I think with the recent commercials they've been spoiling a lot of the movie.

Me too! My favorite part is when he wins the stuffed animal for her and she screams "IT"S SO FLUFFFY!!!" lol cracks me up every time XD
Two more days! I think I'm going to see it in 3D... Unlike some other animated movies, I hear this one was actually meant to be in 3D and it was used effectively. Hopefully it turns out to be a really good movie.

I just went today. Anndd, I must say, it was great. If you go, you should definitely go to the 3D showings -- there's a roller coaster scene that is kinda short but worth the extra 3D cost. It's a good movie for little kiddies but it was still really entertaining for me. The movie isn't entirely predictable like most animated movies. Plus, the little minions are awesome -- they have some of the best/funniest parts in the movie.
damn..now u make me wanna go catch the 3D one..i think if i mention this to my gf, she'll probably want me to bring her to the 3D one XD..
Ive seen some clips on youtube, leaving the impression that I will fall asleep. If I dont already like these types of movies, will I like this one?
I saw the trailer for this when I went to see Toy Story 3, looked cute and the graphics were good, but I don't know about the story.
I went out and saw this a couple weeks ago. It lived up to the excitement, but there were parts of it that I felt were too slow. Some of the jokes were more amusing than funny. But at the core of the movie there was really good story telling, which I enjoyed. It was nice to see some characters with depth for once.
