Glee - 5/10 I just finished watching the last episodes. It was kind of disapponting for me since the beginning... I thought it had everything to be a good series, but they managed to ruin it with a terrible plot (if there is any at all) and some really bad singers. Although I must admit that they got it right with a few songs... I second that... Alan Rickman is amazing there!
Letters to Juliet - Sweet little movie, better than I expected. Nothing really special, but as far as chick-flicks go it was a nice break from the usual tripe. 6/10 Lost S4 - Sadly shortened by the writer's strike, but a wonderfully emotional season otherwise. 9/10
Watched some random Czech movie called "Alice." It's kind of interesting in creepy way at the beginning, but then it got too repetitive... I think I'll start watching The Wire soon. It seems to be a very realistic portrayal of urban life.
Rookie Blue S1: I have no idea what it is about this show, but I love it. I guess it's kind of because it's Canadian, and it seems to be really well written and emotionally driven instead of situationally driven - which is what I hate about most cop shows. 10/10
I never heard of this show but did some quick searching and found it. Watched an episode, and fell in love. 10/10 for sure
^It's definitely good stuff Already got renewed for season two halfway through the first season, which is very good - particularly for a Canadian show The Town - Wasn't amazing or anything, but I did enjoy it and could probably be convinced to watch it again. Ben Affleck is a very skillled director and actor. Jeremy Renner, Pete Postlethwaite and Titus Welliver were all excellent supporting cast members. 8.5/10 Easy A - A fun and funny high-school movie with interesting characters and a number of great performences. For a high-school comedy, this was a very good movie as too many of them are just plain horrible. Stanley Tucci was a-mazing, as were Emma Stone and Thomas Haden Church. Definitely worth a watch. 8/10
The Elite Squad - 7/10 It's a very popular brazilian movie. Although it shows nothing but the truth, I still think the violence (not only physical, but also psychological) is too explicit for my taste. But Padilla's other movie, Bus 174, is really good...
Swamp People. 10/10 The show is just funny. Not sure if they meant for it to be funny but their accents kill me.
The Town - 9/10 I'm never really good at giving a brief description or reason without ruining the movie, so I'll just say this: it was not really what I expected, and I'm glad I saw it. You should see it too.
Reruns of Psych...never gets old. I got hooked on it from the beginning. Favorite TV show yet, although White Collar is becoming a close second. All shows on USA Network have amazing plots.
Lost Season 5 - Really, really good. Incredible acting by Terry O'Quinn and Michael Emerson, every scene they're in is perfect. They're perfect. Especially scenes together in Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham, Dead is Dead, Follow the Leader and The Incident. Titus Welliver and Mark Pelligrino join the cast and Titus is as delightful as ever. Josh Holloway and Elizabeth Mitchell really shine as well. 10/10
Book of Eli- Rating 10 The story was absolutely awesome, has a twist to the end. Full of action, Good fight scenes, it's just sick.
The Last Airbender..uhhh since i watched the anime i would give it 3/10 [...] to many parts were cut out.. :nope:
I saw a movie last night with this title and I am really worried about what I saw. It is based on a true story of 1965 and the film uses transcripts from the court for the script.
