In my screen writing class today my teacher was talking about Never Let me Go and saying how amazing it was so now I really want to see it. She said it was just as good as the book, but she wouldn't really give us any details about the movie because she said it would ruin it for us. Sounds pretty cool. I also want to see Easy A because I like silly/stupid highschool comedies. Alpha & Omega seems stupid so I won't go see it. Seems kind of like a rip off of Bolt and Brother Bear.. except not as cool. And I hate 3D lately so definitely not gonna see it.
I know this wasn't too recent but I'm really looking forward to seeing the new resident evil. Has anyone seen this?
Thanks for the list! Some of these are really promising, especially the first one. But it seems to be a tragedy.
I'm excited for Never Let Me Go as well Sadly since it's limited it won't be playing here. Pah! Looks great though D: I am however going to see Easy A and The Town this week. Easy A looks very funny and I've heard nothing but good things about it and The Town has Titus Welliver in it... so 'nuff said. x)
My friend wants to see Easy A, and I'm thinking of going with her. Even though I'm not a big fan of "chick-flick" movies, this one seems to have a fairly original premise... The Town also looks promising, but after watching the trailer I guess it won't have a happy ending...
I watched Easy A today. It was actually really good... Emma Stone is a great comedic actress and the movie just works. Yeah, the premise is pretty original but its still one of those movies that seems like a teen chick-flicky movie but it turned out to be really good. I laughed a lot during the movie and the Olive's (Emma Stone) parents were hilarious and really made the movie 100x better for me. You should definitely go watch it.
I really want to see Easy A because it looks hilarious =) Alpha and Omega looks like it would be a really dumb movie so I will not waste my money on it, but I saw The Town yesterday and it was definitely nota waste of money. I would recommend it.
Also saw The Town, it was actually pretty darn great. Some amazing acting, for sure. Titus Welliver is in it, whom I love, and he is incredible - I've seen almost everything on his IMDB list, and he's always different! Saw Easy A, too. Definitely worth a watch. Very, very funny.
Easy A Pleasant, often funny teen comedy about a witty script, wonderful characters and completely charming central performance by Emma Stone. This is the best high school comedy from Mean Girls.
