The first episode of the fifth season aired last week. Did anyone watch it?

I have seen a few episodes of Dexter and sort of half read one of the books, but I can't generally get into shows if I've missed so much of them. What I find intriguing though is that on the posters for the new season there's a baby bottle, and I wondering why the heck Dexter would in any way have a baby in it.

 

I LOVE Dexter! The premiere was lacking for me though, Idk how this plot is going to progress. I think Quinn is getting into deep water messing with Dexter though. And does anyone else think Debra is onto Dexter a little?

 

If this season is really the last, then maybe Deb will end up killing Dexter in some dramatic finale (though I'm not sure how this can be plausibly achieved) or maybe Dexter will kill himself... There seems to be nowhere for the plot to go now that Rita is gone and her kids (at least Astor and Cody) will soon to be relegated to an even smaller role.

 

Hasn't it been stated that Astor and Cody will be coming back? I'm not sure, but I'm fairly sure I read that somewhere.

 

I haven't watched it but I have been told its amazing.

YES! Now this show had me hooked from the beginning. The suspense was just great. Almost every ending is left the viewer wanting more I would recommend this show to many people who aren't too scared of blood and a nice story

 

YES, i have from the very begining. the first couple seasons were the best, now is someetime a bit boring because he has to take care of his kids

 

I watched one episode, but I never really got into it after that.

 

I watched all the season. I am looking forward for the next season.

 

Ahh! Im still on season 3! I need to catch up. Awesome awesome show fer sure

 

I don't get the fuzz. I hate that show. I watched it up to this christmas (or last year's christmas xD)

But then again, I normally hate those csi-like shows. I know it's not like that, but really. Gimme some desperate housewives or something instead =P

 

At first I hated the show but in the end I was so into the show.

 

Never watched it yet, I should check it out. I hear its very good.

 

Fantastic, fascinating, creepy and gruesome is what i can say.

 

Anyone else waiting for D-day? The sixth season starts October 2nd. I've got my hopes up that this season will be as interesting as the 4th one.

To anyone who likes the series I can seriously recommend reading the original novels by Jeff Lindsay. I'm not a book enthusiast but these novels (especially the first two) got me hooked on Dexter altogether. They're a lot more gruesome, funny and give deeper insight to what's going on inside Dex's head. And what actually happened to Doakes.. oh man. xD

Then again, the tv series has Vince's awesome idiotic laughter.

 

I haven't watched in quite a while. My husband and I watched the first two seasons but he stopped because he felt like Dexter should have been caught too often and I stopped because I just didn't have the time to keep up. I really do want to see the season with John Lithgow though!
