Alright. So I'm going to assume that most of you have read the Harry Potter books. If you haven't, start with book two, The Chamber of Secrets. My parents bought me that one first, and it was the most addicting book I had read in a long time. Afterwards we purchased The Sorcerer's Stone, and I was like meehhh. Then Prisoner of Azkaban came out and I was hooked. So. Which book is your favorite? Mine is still the Chamber of Secrets, but I haven't read The Deathly Hallows yet (if I do, the series will end!). Which movie is your favorite? Deathly Hallows pt 2 was amazing, but The Prisoner of Azkaban is my absolute favorite.
So I reccommend you to start reading faster as deadly hallows is the best book out of the seven. Regarding the movies I have not seen the 2cond part of the last book, but the first part of it was the best Ive seen
In my opinion, the Chamber of Secrets was the most boring out of the entire series. I'm thinking of starting the series over and skipping the second book if I do XD. It's hard to pick a favorite book because I like everything after book four pretty evenly once everything got way more intense. As far as the movies go I think I liked the Order of the Phoenix and Deathly Hallows Pt 2 the best.
For the book, i think Goblet Of Fire and the Deathly Hallows were the best. For Goblet Of Fire, i like how the friendship went between Ron and Harry. As for the Deathly Hallows, being able to travel freely and using spells freely outside of Hogwarts and all those rebellious acts by the Hogwarts students and the "alliances" were awesome. As for the movies, i think they always shows something different from the book. *Deathly Hallows Spoiler* Spoiler "They snapped the Elder Wand into two, instead of [ from the book ] they return it to Dumberdore's Coffin or smth." - According to what i think i remembered. But the movies are all equally as good, as they make me realize how far is my imagination different from the movies. :>
I like Order of the Phoenix in terms of books. It definitely captured a lot of the excitement and wonder of the HP world. As for the movie, perhaps I'll go with Order of the Phoenix, because we get to see Mr. Sparkles die.
My favorite book was Order of the Phoenix, although my favorite movie was definitely Goblet of Fire. And my least favorite movie was definitely Deathly Hallows Pt. 2. I hated the movie, so inaccurate
I been following Harry Potter since my sch day finally the series ended lol. My fav book: Order Of The Phoenix Fav movie: The Goblet of fire.
Harry Potter!!!! Who else thinks that the last movie was amazing? But it really is a shame that it's the end of the series.
Rowling hasn't ruled out further books based in the HP world. She's said that they're her characters, so she can bring them back whenever she really desires to. And pottermore, what a gyp.
I actually thought the last movie was atrocious! and i hope she doesn't make any more books, i dont want them to be ruined :/
I don't know, if she is the one writing them I can't see them being too ruined lol. I wouldn't mind her coming out with more books because I was sad to see the series end. Maybe she'll take on the next generation in a new series or something I know she was getting more stressed though about writing the books once the movies started coming out since there was more on the line I guess.
I know right :nope: ! Everything was different...the fight between Harry and Voldemort at the end was supposed to be in front of everybody. They were first going to explain everything that happened, and why Harry was still alive and all the 'trash talking'. And why did he break the Elder Wand? I think the movies got worse as they got later. Maybe because the books were larger or because of a new director, but the Philosopher's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, and even the Goblet were ok. It just went downhill from there.
finally, someone who understands what i was thinking with the movie. I mean why did they just stop letting him use the cloak in the movie? why did potterwatch show up when it wasn't in the last movie? why did the scene in ravenclaw tower just like not happen in the movie?why didnt he ever tell neville to kill the snake in the movie? and yet neville knew to do it. Why didn't the centaurs attack and then harry sneak out under the cloak and fight voldemort in the great hall? Sooo many problems, those were just a few
I'm definitely going back and re-reading the books, at least the second half of the series lol. I didn't catch all of these differences XD Must be because it's been awhile since I've read it.
hahahha yeah, i had read that book a couple days before i saw the movie multiple times, and I found sooo many differences. those were just some
Really? You don't remember the finale to one of the greatest series of all time ? No, but I'm kinda serious because I haven't read a Harry Potter book in almost a year, but I can still remember every tiny detail that ever happened in each book . The 7th book was the one 700 page book that I finished in 2 hours. Probably the only book I would read XD.
Hrmm...Well, good on you for being able to remember every minute detail. I can't. What happened to the cloak in the movie?
Harry was supposed to use the Invisible Cloak when they went to Hogsmeade. But they didn't even include the Cloak in the last half of the movie.
Well I want to read all the books. at some stage i will. The one thing I wanted to comment on was the ending of the last movie. Like that really ruined it for me.The bit 19 years later crap was a waste.
well they didnt do a great job with the 19 years later thing, since they didn't say who was doing what, but they had to include it to show that ron married hermione, harry married Ginny, that harry named his kids after his dad, mom, dumbledore, and snape
