Alright, I saw it. I'm not gonna lie, it was a great movie. Leonardo Dicaprio has just been on a row lately. Did anyone feel as if the main guideline of Inception was a little toooo similar to Shutter Island? You know, he's kinda going crazy, has a crazy wife who does something wrong to their kids... haha. Or was it just me?

What do people think about the ending? Trying to avoid spoilers but I love how it was left open to the viewer to decide.

I thought the ending was good. Letting the viewer decide was a nice touch. Adds some more thought to the movie.

Pretty nice movie, not the best ever, but candidate for an Oscar somewhere.

    About the ending,

I think it wasn't actually that ambiguous. I don't think that it could have been a dream because
    1) He didn't just arrive there with no memory of how he got there; we saw him getting off the plane, going through customs, going to his house.
    2) For it to be possibly a dream, it would have to mean that his whole life (as we know it) was just a huge dream, which isn't possible, because we never saw any projections suspecting him or attacking anyone else for him
    3) The top was so wobbly! It was about to fall over. :)

    Any thoughts otherwise?

The beginning and ending bugged me a lot. The beginning made me feel like I missed something and I kept thinking about it.
I missed a couple of things because it was kinda hard to follow. But overall AWESOME movie. And very long, but I didnt really mind.

    And the ending

I thought the children would've grown since he saw them last. Idk how long had passed but still.. But I dont think it wasa dream either, but I am not sure :p I think the audience is to decide..

But somehow I also think that whoever made this movie wants us to think: how real is reality? is this world really real? or something in the lines of that. A bit philosofic but still. A kind of "moral" of the story.

    About the Ending:
The children in the end are meant to be a bit older since to different pairs of actors were used I believe, and also the kids did have different shoes on if I remember correctly. With that being said I still believe most of the movie was a dream. When Cobb goes to the chemist and falls asleep there, when he "wakes up" he goes to the bathroom to see if he's in a dream still or not. He spins the top but it falls to the ground and he's interrupted. From this point on I think Cobb was dreaming the whole thing.

OMG! That movie is a total mind (insert f-bomb here) I swear!! But it was one of the best I have seen in awhile! After I saw, I couldn't think straight for days because I was all confused and I had so many questions! But I loved it! I would definitely recommend it.

Loved Inception. I don't know about it being a mindf*** movie though. To be honest, I found it clear, intellectual and entertaining. Didn't find myself confused, simply found myself being completelty riveted. :)

I thought the film was really good considering there are not a whole lot of good quality films out right now.
But I was terribly confused throughout the whole movie (I mean a dream within a dream within a dream within a dream? WTF)
And the ending left me hanging, leaving me pretty unsatisfied.
    But overall, AWESOME movie.

Very original and awesome graphics, but to be honest I don't think I want to see it again. Nevertheless, a brilliant movie.

The movie is about them entering someone dream to steal info, plant ideas to let them believe it actually happens.

Immediately became of my favourite movies of the year. I enjoyed it and the fact that it kept you thinking but wasn't so confusing that it wasn't entertaining.

The special effects in this movie were also very good, which is surprising because of its simplicity compared with the "Matrix." Plans are slow but not impossible to kung fu fighting sequences. It is particularly interesting when the film enters the architecture of certain dreams, and no sequences are filmed in a way, I've never seen elsewhere in the drawings.

Got to disagree with everyone on this lol. After hearing everyone else raving about how it was the best movie ever I watched it and found myself quite disappointed. Just didn't do it for me.

It was a bit slow and there were parts that were a little weak logically speaking ... as if they had to try very hard to do the work in the plots. But it was generally entertaining and very beautiful film.
