Alrightyy, now I just found the key quest strategy where you have 2 accounts and 2 browsers and face against each other to get gold keys, now plz can anyone tell me if anyone has gotten banned from this yet? and how many times relatively should I play key quest in a day with 2 accounts?
You must confirm you have different ips on both browsers.. you can go enter here to check that: http://whatismyipaddress.com/ If you dont have different ips you must use proxes.. first of all.. try to play to another players to make it looks more legit.. It d be pretty suspicious playing every day with the same person. And try to avoid winning always on same account.. vary wiinings from accounts
i don't ever use proxys or 2 accounts for this, i think it's too dangerous. It helps if you play games with 2 players and 5 keys, so you have more chance to win. And if you don't win, you still get the silver key, which also have good prizes sometimes.
There's a 10-20% chance you'd get frozen. TNT does catch people for multi-accounting. Play keyquest legit, it's fun
I second Shawn's statement. Just do 5-keys 2-person games. There's a 50-50 chance that you'll get a gold key. And silver keys aren't bad, either. You just get three prizes instead of 4, and no chance (compared to 2%-5%?) of getting a paint brush. Personally, I always play with the Terror Mountain board; I've find it's the fastest and most assured way to win, especially if you go first and choose Faerieland as your starting position. When I have more time to kill, I play with the Neovia board. You get a lot more NP and most players aren't accustomed to that board, so it's almost certain that I win.
I have a question... I play KQ a lot. And I have really bad internet connection, so I finish up being disconnected quite often. Is it really possible to get frozen because of that(as a quitter)? And another question-when the opponent uses the power up giant lint ball against you, is it really against the rules to skip your turn? Is possible the TNT freezes your account for that? thx
Well, it really depends on the person you're playing against. If they report you, there is a small chance you would get frozen. Some players are just report-happy, and there's nothing you can do about that, but in general, these things would help lessen the chance that you would get reported: 1. Don't purposefully quit to avoid losing. It's easy to spot; it's annoying, and someone will wise up to this. Racking up enough reports against you might increase your chance of being frozen. 2. Make sure you have an fair mix of gold and silver keys. Your KeyQuest summary is available for people to see, and it looks suspicious if you only have gold keys, since it means you only get disconnected when you're about to lose. People with a genuinely bad connection get disconnected randomly, regardless of what position they're in. 3. When someone joins your game, send them a "Hi!" or "Good afternoon." Throughout the game, depending on what's happening, insert some chat lines that are easy to pull up like, "Congrats" or "Aww, tough luck." It makes you seem more invested in the game, and when you're disconnected, the other player is less likely to think you're doing this on purpose. In my experience, it also makes you look like a nice person, so the other person is less likely to rage-quit on you. 4. If you get disconnected from a game right before you're about to lose, this is very frustrating for the other player. Sending him/her a neomail explaining that your connection is bad, and that you're sorry for the inconvenience, and/or gifting that person a codestone or two might sooth his/her feelings. This actually requires effort and goodwill on your part, so you don't have to do it every time, or at all, for that matter, but it lessens the likelihood that they will report you. It also makes you a nicer person, which is never a bad thing. TNT has said that it is against the rules of KeyQuest to skip your turn on purpose to avoid a negative power-up. Again, if you do this, it's cheating, and the other player can report you. It's not likely that you will get frozen, but having multiple reports makes you look bad. Personally, I find it very frustrating when the person I play with quit the game, purposefully or not. If it happens more than once, I block that person. I never report people because it is actually too much work for me. From what I've observed from the KeyQuest board, reporting doesn't seem to actually DO anything. But you might never know.
Those tips are very useful, thanks. By blocking you probably mean neomail blocking, right? I never blame people for quitting somewhere in the middle of the game, because it can be anything-urgent event, disconnection, etc. But quitting right before your opponent reaches the door is pretty obvious, I think.
