That was an awesome movie. Anyone else seen it? I actually was too lazy to see it in theater so i found one online. Yay for piracy. I kid, I kid.
You don't kid, not really :rhett: I haven't seen it yet, but the reviews look promising, saying that it was more comparable to the original Plant of the Apes rather than its remake. That's a good sign. Does the fact that you know what happens at the end change anything about it?
No, it doesn't. It's really good, you should see it. The original planet of the apes was good, but this one was something way better. Makes me think, what if someone did come up with something that makes apes that smart. Would it be the end of the world? XD
I loved it. It is nothing like the others but still very good. Spoiler Now I do not think a lot of people got the ending when the disease spreads. Now they send a rocket up to Mars but it got lost. Now in the first one people from the Earth landed in a deserted place where they thought would be Mars. In the end of the first they saw the statue of Liberty and it must have been earth and because of the disease which spread all over the world only VERY few humans survived because in the first there were some people who in it so some people must have survived. All animals except apes died. It took me just a little bit to find this out but when I found out I was like WOW! what a great ending screen. Only thing is that I wish that they used real people instead of CG but the CG was GREAT. Other then that movie was great.
There are so many things right about this movie, the little things that are wrong are easily forgiven. Some slight plot holes, but the film and characters make up for it.
I want to go see it unless theres a better option XD it looked good on all the trailors and ive seen all the older version which are laughable!
It's amazing. However I do agree with Tristen that it might be better if they didn't use real people. But it looks real so you probably wouldn't have guessed if you never seen the behind the scene or the makings of it.
I agree that it looks so real. I wonder how much time it took to actually do all of the CG. Tell you the truth I am surprised so far it only got like 259 Million in Box Office and it only cost 93 Million to make.
Well, I work at a theater and it has been REALLY busy for that movie alone, I watched it and it was actually really good, really good CG as well.
