this one really looks pretty promising...although I dont think its possible to get worse than the previous 3. Andrew Garfield seems like a way better Peter Parker than Tobey McGuire

I was thinking it's stupid to make another one. There has been so many spider man movies. Plus I really like Tobey, he's such a cutie. A new spider man? Nooo..

I liked the last two pretty much :D
But didn't pay enough attention to the new trailer because of the new spidie, so I was DISAPPOINT ): I don't really get how they will get it from the start when we already know the background story with Tobey ? But I might watch it when it's out on dvd..

its completely unrelated though, so they'll just redo it, they're following a different comic book too

Yep, depends on how the director wants to do it.

I thought the last few Spiderman movies were okay. Perhaps a new one every decade? Geez. It came out a whole decade ago.

As for the new superman movie...probably better than the one with Brandon Routh. Sheesh.

To be serious, the movie was really a dissapointment. People called it Spiderman 4 but it was just a remake... The acting was lame as all the main character knows to do is to nod his head... Spiderman's target audience is for kids, so it feels like theres one too many love scenes

Considering Spider-man was introduced to the public in 1962, I'm not sure if the target audience has to be children anymore.
And I liked the new movie, much better than the old ones.
Peter Parker is more of a brain in the new movie. Very obvious.
Peter Parker has to use a web shooter! (I'm not sure why they didn't do that in the first movie.... just felt wrong to me...)
Gwen Stacy - Time line just works better with her first. Gwen was first, then MJ. (and I don't even want to count the years between Gwen and Venom....).... And Gwen is pivitol in not just the Spider-Man universe but in comics in general... (but that may be spoilers for upcoming movies....)

Both the old and the new movie have failed to capture the quick wit of spider-man. Works well on paper, and in animation... but they just haven't done it yet on the big screen. (Kinda like how they've not done Deadpool right either....)

Oh well... definitely looking forward to the next one.
(You know who I want to see thrown onto the screen, since they are just coming out with comic movies left, right and center?
CLOAK AND DAGGER! I love them!)

But first I will have to wait while they mess up robocop... unbelievable.

I saw it in the theatre (in 3D no less XD) and I liked it. I never liked Toby as Spiderman, I thought he looked too...mushy to be a cool superhero. I liked the new guy though, and I liked the few funny parts in the movie. Maybe I'm biased because I worked at Islands of Adventure, but oh well. 8D
