Wilfred - this show is a complete surprise. Its about a dog, Wilfred, that hangs out with an ex-lawyer, Ryan. Except to Ryan, he appears as a man wearing a dog-suit. They smoke lots of pot together and Wilfred teaches Ryan all about letting loose and being true to his animal nature.

Falling Skies - aliens pwned earth. We get to watch humanity struggle to cope with day to day resistance fighting. It reminds me that humans are noble creatures, when we stop squabbling over money. Its worth a look.

Louie - in its second season. We follow Louis CK, so if you don't like it, you're probably too politically correct to allow yourself to laugh.

Archer - if you're not watching this show, you need to get your sense of humor checked. Boom.

FX is killing it this year.

I haven't seen the US version, but the aussie version was great. Wilfred remains the same, so I did have high hopes for it. It's still good to hear that it's doing decently in America though. And aussies do have different senses of humour than Americans.

Archer is a great show. Reminds me of the harvey birdman series.

The Walking Dead is great! I've been following the comic book series, and if the tv show follows it, there are seasons upon seasons before it ends.

Game of thrones is also a great series based off a fantasy novel series. Not for the faint hearted and young ones though.

Other cartoons like Archer that are great to watch are Aqua Teen Hunger Force, oh and sealab 2021, so so funny. :maha:

I wasn't aware there is a book series for the Walking Dead.

The comic books were the originals to my knowledge, and it's still ongoing with monthly releases. The series still has a few years to catch up though.

The comics are worth a read, as depressing as they are. The Walking Dead world is a great interpretation of zombies, and is a bit more realistic than something like 28 days later, which uses faux zombies.

I started watching Ringers and it really got me into it, and then they canceled it D: Same with Secret Circle.

Watched Walking Dead and played the game (which I highly recommend). I might give that Revolution show a try. Looks kind of interesting.

Revolution's idea is really cool, but I don't know where they would develop a plot for that. It seems like the sci-fi idea is great, based on relativity and all that, but what's the main conflict?

I think it's about the girl finding her dad who knows how to turn the power back on. I'm trying to wrap my brain around society turning into a bunch of crazies because the electricity turned off. It was only a little over a hundred years ago that we got electricity. I think we'd have some issues but I don't think we'd pull out weapons and start shooting each other.

I've never really gotten to into apocalypse tv shows. I prefer movies or games in this genre.

Yeah...but it might be good, just depending on how they write the plot.

I'm also watching the show 'Castle'. Awesome show, but you have to start at the beginning for it to be good.

Lots are coming back for a new season which I am glad for. Sadly they cancelled many shows that I loved after the first season like Missing.

Watched Revolution in full. Wow, that was bad. I think it might've been ok if it weren't for the twilight-esque teen romance they had to put in. Ugh.

I knew Revolution would bomb, it sounded too cool. T_T
The only new thing I've been watching alongside all of my other shows (Gray's Anatomy, Private Practice, Glee, Face Off...) is Hot Set, which is like Face Off but instead of creating characters, they have to create the set for a specific genre and script. Pretty Cool! :)

Earlier in the topic there was talk of 'The Walking Dead'! (Love the show, and the comic).
If you are looking to get into the comic book, you may want to grab issue 99 through 103.... (103 is the latest as of right now) Big things happening right now (of course you will kinda know what's going to happen to certain characters in the show if you decide to read ahead... like issue 100... sad face...)
of course if you have $1000+ dollars lying around you could try grabbing issue 1.... but good luck with that.

    Game of Thrones is fantastic.
Matt Smith is awesome as Doctor Who.
    Gonna start watching falling skies.
    Haven isn't too bad.
oh, and I was watching Grimm for a bit.
