Simcity

So Simcity was released. A little late posting this. So I got it a few days ago and I really like it so far. I like the new graphics, new options and I do like the social features. Luckily I got unlimited internet recently so I do not need to worry about bandwidth which I hate. Though I hope in the game they do expand the playing area a great deal.

Anyone else get the game? Do you like it or dislike it?

 

I was thinking about buying it. But even in the old Sim City 2000, i was never good at it.
The only way i played was by using the cheat that gives you unlimited money.

How are you finding the game so far? Is it hard?

 

Bought it this weekend, its quite an amusing game Very fun to play with friends.

Its fairly easy to pick up the gameplay and manage your city really - The only thing that annoyed me was that about 15-20 min into the game I got a random event that bombed my city with meteors.
Since I didnt have a fire station (or money to get one) half my city burned down.

And that happened my first time of playing it. xD

 

^ Servers seem to be okay I was able to play for hours no d/c. Only down side is you can't speed your city up to cheetah speed anymore at the moment. PM me if anyone wants to add. I'd love to play a region with someone.

 

Servers are fixed. And it is a very easy game to pick up.

I never got why when a fire breaks out or a crime even if I have a bunch of police stations, a bunch of fire stations my houses still all burn. That is hard. I went bankrupts because of that.

 

I never had traffic problems tbh - Not with lag, and not with in game traffic (busses ftw!)

Also if you want to reduce crime and fire levels in your city, plop down some schools (or an university if you can afford it. its very very much worth it).

 

Pff, this game costs 55 euro
Too expensive for me.

 

its a pretty nice game except for problems in my graphic card where i can't play on highest or medium ;<
