    Does anybody play Terraria?

    I've only just started to play it and it seems like it'll get really interesting the further along you get!

    I suppose it is a bit like Minecraft, but I think it looks a lot better. I never played Minecraft because I thought it looked, in all fairness, like shit.

    lol minecraft is supposed to look like that. plain and simple, but its all in a matter of opinion. and i just looked up terraria gameplay it looks pretty epic. is it free?

    No, it's not free. It's $9.99 on Steam right now though. Well worth it, in my opinion.

    it's a fun game to play with a bunch of friends on ventrillo and it gets even better when you use cheat engine ;)

    I used to play. It's really fun but it gets extremely hard imo :/

    I honestly like it better than Minecraft. It's like a 2D Minecraft and it's really fun, especially with the consistent updates.

    Terraria is essentially a 2-D minecraft, except Terraria arguably has more content. There are hundreds of different items, not just blocks. Your character can get cool trinkets that do things like allow you to double jump or breathe underwater. The more you play, the more stuff you find, so the reward system is better than in Minecraft, which requires a lot of work for small rewards (like a single piece of diamond equipment). That being said, they each have their own merits. I play both since I get different things out of them. Someone wanted a screenshot of Terraria, so I included the trailer below:

    it is like minecraft yet in a 2d platform game , but minecraft is more challenging in a sense =/ => still i own terraria and minecraft =) great games.!
