no... not necessarily is what I'M saying, what makes you assume it would be any easier for them to contact us than it is for us to contact them? and it's not just because of our larger brains, a lot of it is due to the way that we evolved and the advantages we had because of our anatomy
i wasnt saying that humans are stupid or putting the human race down... humans are intelligent dont get me wrong. compared to other species on THIS planet, we are definitely the most intelligent. what i'm saying is that maybe on some other planet there are life forms as intelligent or more intelligent than us.
yeah, but it's all relative to how their society would function... so they wouldn't be more intelligent per say, but instead just a different kind of intelligent... do you get what I'm saying?
I think humans are brilliant. The discovery of mathematics, which is simply put just a bunch of ratios...funny how something that evolved from a cell could figure that out. Although you can say that, humans have only gotten VERY intelligent recently, as in only in a FRACTION of how long life has been around, seriously newton was the one who discovered calculus thats like basic stuff now. So maybe intelligence comes about randomly, lets say the dinosaurs never died, who knows if there would be intelligent life on earth. So if there's life out there its not hard to think it could be intelligent. How intelligent? who knows, humans are becoming smarter exponentially and assuming we survive for maybe a thousand years (i doubt it) i'd think we'd be HIGHLY advanced.
yeah that's part of the point I was trying to make.... just look at computers, they've been around for about 50 years, yet have advanced so much in that time... it's actually pretty astonishing, the human world is evolving at a much faster rate than it ever was
