Dangerous Dog

Has anyone heard the news recently about a little 5 year old girl who was mauled and killed by a putbull terrior like dog? And the dog was owned by her uncle, who was found to be taking drugs and apparently, the uncle has had complaints about removing it. Also the girls grandmother was injured, now the uncle has to live with knowing that he could of prevented his niece get killed and her grandmother being injured. I think this is so sad. She was killed on ne years day as well.

There are so many of those things happening now, I htink its been going on for a while but it's only recently the media has paid attention to it, dogs like those should be put down at birth, they are ugly and should only be used for serious guarding.

 

Yeah pit bull ones (they're against the law to have in england)

they banned pitbulls in ontario or all of canada, cant remember

Thats horrible! Makes me a little more cautious walking with my friend now. He has a pit bull dog

 

In England you'll get arrested for owning one...

 

Pitbulls are only bad if you train them to be but they are more violents they are legal here in Idiana

 

I think they should ban those types of dogs and put them all down. They are a danger to society because htey were breed to kill. What good can come from them? You can easily get another kind of dog..

 

I believe that there is a possiblity of training it right? Even though they are born to kill.. I'm sure with the right type of people, they'll be tamed.. My apologies to the family..

 

It all comes down to training. The biggest problem is that most breeders dont care about the dogs so they recieve little to no attention in their early development. And a lot of owners dont treat the dogs properly either and ignore smaller issues that lead to behavior like this.

 

omg, that's so horrible. That poor kid I don't know if I could live with myself knowing something like that happened because of me. The dog should have been put down though. Do you know if it was yet or not?

Pit bulls have goten a bad rep because some breeders breed them for being visous but If you get them from a breeder that breeds them as pets and you train them right they will be a great pet

 

I've heard a few similar stories. It really is a terrible loss. That's a very violent breed of dog, I once had one, though he didn't seem violent, just excitable.

I gave him to a gentleman friend of my father who lived in a house out in the country and away from neighbors and children. There's lots of land out there for him to run around, and he doesn't get taunted or tempted by any visitors.

A shame for that poor girl.
