i like school for my social interactions and feelings of less loneliness... well learning can actually make me understand things... and make things clear and more interesting ... to reveal life's zest
I hated school because i guess i was a kid and most kids find they do, but looking back i can see why. Now im at college, and i can hate that from a more adult point of view, which is kinda worrying, guess im not cut out for education :shock:
When I was in school... I loved it... and cold have easily been a professional student. Now that I'm not in school... I still love to learn something new everyday, and take on things I've never tried... and that is due to going to school. All school does is teach you how to learn new things and that will carry over a lifetime.
While you're in school you have very little freedom, and you do work without pay. Seriously, unless a kid is spoiled they're not likely to get even 1/10 of the weekly pay of an adult each year. School tends to be about 7 hours of work a day, and you don't get to choose what work you do in school. It annoys me when people do not consider the advantages/downsides to both sides of an argument Also, about school teaching you things. A majority of the things you learn throughout your years in school is useless after 3rd grade. Unless you become a teacher you do not need to know algebra, nor biology in almost any case. So, why do they teach years of it in schools? Just because they choose to follow an automated system without question.
And they keep adding stupid requirements like they don't want us to graduate or something. We HAVE to do 10 hours of community service, and do some pointless project about the community service for "service learning credits" and if we don't do it we don't graduate. What is the point? How will this help us in life?
HATE it!! I hate sitting through Geometry class. Our school has 72 minute blocks so it gets pretty boring. Although I do like playing dodgeball in gym class.
School Wen i was in School i actually really liked it but then wen i ot bullied alot and got 2 ma GCSEs i kinda lost interest...but i much prefer college
I dont like school the only good thing is the friends there. Teachers are assholes and think they own you.
Re: HATE it!! I liked geometry! I didn't like any of the social sciences though. I high school, our blocks were 90 minutes...now that was torture.
I love school but school hates me xP My classmates are smart and open-minded unlike everyone in junior-high and the subjects are interesting enough. But lately I've been having anxiety attacks whenever I go there and I've been on a vacation for a while now
For me school is such a waste of time. Some days I will spend 4 hours just sitting or reading my books.
