Anyone seen the news about the shark they caught in Japan. Looks so ancient and weird. What do you think there going to do with something like this???? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16785254/?GT1=8921
Yeah misstshy, saw it on CNN, check out the teeth. Too bad it died 2 hours after it's capture... I don't see why they just didn't let it go.
well if it came up from the deep then I suppose it came for a reason. It was prob looking to die.... that shark was the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. I wonder what there going to do with it now?????
Oh heck If I was a scientist I wouldnt have let it go I would have tried to keep it alive to study it.... I keep watching the vid, I think its so neat!! Sorry this is in the wrong forum.... suppposed to be in news and sporst... ooops. I thought that was were I had clicked on it.
They'll probably study it like crazy, taking DNA, stomach samples... all the usual and then it'll wind up stuffed in some museum. I just hope the Japanese don't use the shark fins... LOL <just kidding> It just goes to show you, there's a lot we haven't discovered on this planet. Edit: Here's the picture
I know it looks so cool. It was prob due to die thats prob why it came to surface and was sited and caught. I would love to study something so old and ancient like that.
lol, they can't clone it. They need another one to do that. And i would suspect it died because of the pressure change.
too bad....it dies scientists think it came to shallow water cause it was sick so probably it would have died anyways
ceolacanth, it's a fish they thought was extinct, but a fisher caught one off the coast of Madagascar awhile back, about 5-10 years or so
