i think this would be a cool program, especially since when you get a few levels on your petpets, they end up helping a lot in the battledome. it just gets annoying trying to level them up because it takes so long

There are 3 different choices i believe and something about shielding too. Its mostly jsut random clicking and seeing if you win.

"The level of your petpet now is important in the Battledome. The total damage your pet’s attack causes is determined by the attack multiplied the level of the petpet. For example if your pet would normally do 10 points (a.k.a. “icons”) of damage and owns a level three petpet, your pet will now do 30 points of damage. Once you remove a petpet from your pet, the level will automatically be reset to level 1."

If I remember correctly the way I got the trophy for petpet battles was to hit the opponant once and then hold down F5. Every refresh should continue to do damage so that if you hold it down for about 20-30 seconds and then stop you should have beaten the level.

I hope that makes sense, I'm not very good at explaning stuff like that.
