I'm a 2003 user and I love the game. I'm not as into it as I was but I've recently opened a shop in the B/C forum and it's doing great. It's Jiao Li, if anyone is familiar with the B/C subforum.
Yep, i used to play gaia a lot; but now i just go on every now and again to check on it. I been played a few years can't remember exactly, before i usually only went on the exchange forum (thats where i made my money). My fave item is DJs always wanted them but couldn't make enough money :cry: I got 3k now :lol: but my rarest item is angelic minis
havent played the game before... all i played was runescape only =X but the screenshots of gaia looks nice... maybe will try it next time =)
DJs are nice... I've had two pairs and sold both. I'm eventually going to buy another pair maybe.. But they just don't go with much. I guess my rarest item at the moment is the Nitemare Minis but I'm looking to sell them. Gaia's a forum game. You post and get points (like here) and you can spend it on clothes for your little character, which you customize. The games got like a pg13 (but more like PG17 most of the time. Swearing is ok, talking about sexual stuff is ok as long as it isn't like overly graphic) rating and the mods are pretty lax, so it's really nice compared to the Nazi like rule they have going on at Neopets.
i dont like the games there. ive been there about a year. my friend i used to play neo w/ told me about it & we used to get together in a fishing chat but hes never on any more & neither is any1 else i talk too so i guess im the last of my kind lol. i dunno y i still go there really? i pop into a guild every now & then but its the only place i go to. most of the time i log in to get the free stuff u get daily but i prolly only go twice a month. i wanted my own guild really bad but u have to have 20k to open 1 so now i dont care & my dream avi is gonna cost about 10 mill so i can pretty much count that out. i go i guess for the free stuff like whatever events they have like during halloween we could be aliens & probe cows lol! there doing 1 for valentines too. i hope i have time 4 it. i missed the xmas event. :cry:
That's the problem really. People from Neopets go to Gaia and have a problem with the games. It isn't a Flash game site...
and of course, there's always the problems with games not working, like puzzle :? ...but gaiatowns is pretty fun...^_^
my friend got me into this...I tried it, hated it. It only has like 3 games on offer, and it's just generally boring.
my girlfriend got upset because she kept really expensive items and she said she was waiting for the prices to inflate but they just lost price value =P oh well
... Are you sure? Because I can't think of a single donatiom item that has deflated enough to really matter. If they were recent, then yea. New items have a huge hype, then by the end of the month their prices even out and level off. Some items take a while to inflate, but they do eventually.
