i went out and bought a 10 passes for $55 to skate at an ice rink. I also wanted to buy a pair of ice skates from models or sports athority so i wouldn't have to rent their fungus covered ice skates but what sucks is that they only sell ice skates for a certain time because it's a seasonal thing. Does anyone know where i can get a pair of ice skates sometime soon because of the 10 passes i bought? Does anyone know what i should be looking for if i just want to ice skate and not figure skate or play hockey?
where do u live? 10 passes for 55 bucks sounds expensive, its like 2$ for a free skate (lasts like 1.5-2hrs) herelol. when ur looking for ice skates, just try to buy a pair that makes u feel comfortable in them, not too loose because it can make ur ankle sorta slanted the whole time and not too tight because it can cause blisters
eBay? I do not recommend it because from previous expriences. One time when one of my co-workers bought a I pod, it was not as good as described. So watch out!
Umm your best off buying hockey skates because figure skates are horribnle and hockey skates last longer (played hockey for 8 years) and their grreeat
That is so true, the hockey skates out preform it by a gap. So the post above is very useful if your planning to buy it/
if you just wanted a pair of skates to like fart around on, get a pair of ccm's even though they're hockey skates, you wont get much of a variety... just good learning skates... unless you wanna jump up an twirl...
depending on where you live here are some stores that are pretty widespread around the country...i have played hockey since i was six so i can emember almost all the stores i have used for my equipment! Players bench....best behind the mask.....best breakaway sports....good play it again sports....cheap/used go to a hockey rink and see if they have a pro shop inside
pro shop may be expensive and have limited selection... depending on where you live, they may actually sell them somewhere like walmart...
If you're looking for figure skates, I suggest going to a local skating club and looking at the ads...but a nice pair of skates is going to cost a bit
I wouldnt buy them from ebay. You need to try to skates on and make sure you feel comfortable in them.
I buy my figure skates from a local shop, but I've heard good things about skates.com, so maybe you could try shopping online for some.
If you want qualtiy, just buy a new pair from your local sports shop such as Sportschek,Champs etc etc.
I guess that's all the info you basically need for buying a pair of skates. It's either Ebay or from a local store and new/ used...
u should take hockey skates there better and looksbetter more protection also.... (playing hockey till 10 years still playing..)
