Does my zapped pet stay the same if I make it stop playing with my pet? No, once you detatch the zapped petpet from your pet it transforms into its original form. What do I need to get the petpet lab ray? It is required that you have obtained access to the full Secret Laboratory Map before to can obtain access to the petpet lab. Like the secret Lab Map, you must get all 9 pieces of the map and use them. What does the lab do to my pet? * Gain levels * Turn it into a pile of soot * Change species * Gain levels * Decrease levels * Change color * Change its name * Turn it into a pile of soot * Make your petpet disappear * Nothing at all Can I get an avatar from this lab? Perhaps you should add a section about avvie petpets...as in, whether you'd get the avvie if your petpet (of 100+) was zapped into a slorg or other petpet avvies...

Yes, you can. The newbie pack petpets act the same as any other petpet. You just can't sell or trade them.
umm, you tiped the "turn into a pile of soot" twice anyways, i didn't know it would make your petpets level go up and what does the petpet level makes?
The level of your petpet matters in the BD. The damage caused by your pet is multiplied by the level of its petpet. So, if your pet does 12 icons of damage and its petpet is level two, the total damage would be 24.
