My boyfriend and his flatmates watch the trailer constantly. They cant wait. They keep quoting the line from the trailer about "Our arrows shall blot out the sun" There is a 60's film called The 300 Spartans which is the film the novel 300 was based on. I also heard that the makers of the film have ignored historical accuracy simply to make the film cool.
I am really interested in it, but sadly it is rated R. The thing is, this is a true story. 300 spartans defended against thousands of persians. And each single soldier died. They were in a great geographic position, but still. Oh, and the quote that spartans said was something like this. All the pessimists were saying that the persians were so powerful there arrows would block out the sun. The spartans responded in there usual egotistical way... "All the better to fight"
It is greece. :shock: Know your facts... Well, my parents say I shouldn't be watching R, but I think I can convince them.
haha quite funny since right now im learning about Greece and the professor was talking about this event at the same time.

The Battle of Thermapolyes Or something like that Wikipedia it, its a good story. Can't wait for the movie to come out.
Acutally I'm thinking more like Sin City, if not the plot then stuff like the way the movie was filmed like the lenses used and stuff.

Ya i know, i've seen the previews for it and it looks great, too bad it's rated R though, i guess ill have to wait until it comes on DVD or maybe i can sneak in or try and get in, people tell me that i look like im 21 and im only 16 :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
